i don't know if its even authentic, but i want to find out all that i can- what its worth, if it is authentic. its the brownish color, it says zane trace commemomoration along the outside rim, in the center it has an odd image that i can't make out, and has the date 1794-1974. on the backside it says nelson mccoy.

The one resolution, which was in my mind long before it took the form of a resolution, is the key note of my life. It is this, always to regard as mere impertinences of fate the handicaps which were placed in my life almost at the beginning. I resolved that they should not crush or dwarf my soul but rather be made to blossom like Aaron's rod, with flowers.......Helen Keller.....

This is a very profound statement by a very special individual. It makes me so humbled to read it and realize that my life is but a note of indifference in comparison to this wonderful woman who conquered so many disabilities and issues. My appreciation to have run across this at the time in my life where I feel so sad, lonely and unloved is difficult to express. All I can say is GOD is good and HE helps us to realize that we have many more things to be grateful for than we know. In this case, sight, sound, and speech have always been a part of my life and I have taken all for granted. Thank you Lord.......
