we wish a lot ,wht we knew we coudnt get it ,but we wish.i have alot of wishes ,will i be able to get sm of them.while all my wishes dont require my efforts,but only lord wish.

We wish (on candles, on stars, out loud or quietly to ourselves) for what we want, because it's easier than actually trying to get it. If I made an effort, I might fail. Easier to wish & hope that some outside force would magically drop everything in my lap when the reality is that you have to go after what you want & risk failing, if you really want to get it...
Right now I wish I was home in bed instead of at work...if I really wanted to I could quit my job & go home to bed, but then I'd have to find another job or I couldn't pay the mortgage. Wishing is like daydreaming. It's just fun to hope for things we probably won't get...I wish I'd win the lottery & not have to work!

Wishes are endless.
No matter what comes, no matter how good it is,
there is something beyond it to wish for.
It is the nature of wishing - wanting what is not here yet.
Advertisers, credit card companies & used car salesman prey upon people through encouraging this tendancy.
A better question to ask would be" How do I learn to reduce my wishes before they drag me down into debt & frustration? " (the usual story)

If a wish comes from the Soul, then I and Meister Eckhart have this to say:
When soul wishes to experience something....
She throws out an image of the experience before her, and enters into her own image.

My mother used to say "If wishes were horses beggars would ride", and when Dad heard it he would sometimes say something like "And promptly fall off", or "And get arrested as horse-thieves". Wishes can give us incentive to work for something, whether it is wisdom, or wealth - but those who wish for the truly unattainable haven't "got it", and the "it" they haven't got is the wisdom to fully enjoy whatever they have, here, now, while working for something attainable in the future. But that means defining one's priorities, and few do that.

People wish for what they can't acquire (because there are things no matter how hard you work, you will never obtain)simply because it is a common human driving emotion. It pushes us to strive for more; primitively this meant survival.

we wish for things we want, the things we want we don't have, we don't have it is because we cant get it, we don't need it, or we haven't gotten it yet. we don't wish for things we don't need, so that leaves things we cant get or we haven't gotten, we consider things that we haven't gotten yet things we cant get sometimes because we humans are just lazy...so we rather wish for it then put effort in trying to get it, therefore it just becomes unattainable... Therefore the only thing that is left is things that we cannot obtain... That is why we wish for things we cant get...

Its because human by nature has no satisfaction! we're not satisfied/contented of what we get or what we have. Once we reach our goal, do u think we stop in there. No! we wish to get another thing, another goal, and so on & so forth.

can you live without dream? thats life you have to wish to put a goal and try to reach its give our life a taste but you have to do your best to make all your wishes come trueif you cant make one so soon you will make another wish come true but dont give up of your wishes but you have to know that life is choises

You need to WISH, for only what seems improbable in the normal course !
