The half blood prince is Snapes mother. Snape killed Dumbledore when Draco could not. Nobody knows what the other horcruxes are. Although it is possible that Kreacher has the Locket that was supposed to be in the cave but was replaced by someone with the initials R.A.B . In the cave they had to blood the entrance to open it, then they had to find a way to get to the island in the middle of the lake that was inside the cave. It was a boat held by a chain. They saw bodies under the water as they crossed. When they got there they found the horcrux in the shape of a locket in the bottom of a basin full of a liquid that could only be drunk with a crystal goblet which Dumbledore did only after making Harry promise not to stop making him drink the liquid until all had been consumed. It was a poison. Harry made Dumbledore drink the lot despit Dumbledore begging him not to give him anymore. They got to the locket and found it to have been replaced with the note with the initials as I wrote above. Inferi attacked them, Dumbledore recovered long enough to repel them, they got back across the lake and out and back to Hogsmead where Rosmerta saw them return. Harry summoned the brooms for them to fly to the castle quick because the dark mark was floating over Hogwarts. They got to a balcony at the top of the stairs above the room of requirement. Dumbledore made Harry wear the cloak of invisibility and froze him when he heard people coming up the stairs. It was Draco who was supposed to kill Dumbledore but couldn't. Then some death eaters came up behind him and were egging him on to kill Dumbledore, but still he couldn't(Draco let the death eaters in via a magic cupboard that was portal, the other was in the shop in Nock Turn Ally) Snape ran up the stairs and joined Malfoy and the death eaters and finished the job, he killed Dumbledore who was extremely weakened and had lost his wand when Malfoy first burst onto the scene. Harry was frozen and saw everything. He unfroze when Dumbledore died because magic does not linger when the deliverer is dead. He and the rest of the DA fought with the death eaters but Snape and Malfoy got away. There was a funeral for Dumbledore and his coffin went up in bright white flame and left behind a huge tombstone thing. The minister for magic Rufus Scrimgeour tried to recruit Harry to the ministry but Harry basically told him to shove it. He was, even in death, Dumbledores man through and through. He at the end decided to travel the world after returning home to the Dursleys for a short time to fullfill his promise to Dumbledore and then he was going to travel the globe if he had to to find the remaining horcruxes and destroy Voldemort. Oh yeah, he broke up with Ginny too, because Voldemort would be after everyone he was close to and he didn't want to put her in danger. She was a bit upset but accepted it. The End. Oh I forgot the person who was working in Hogsmead with the Death Eaters was Madam Rosmerta, she was under the imperius curse.

Harry and Dumbledore got back to Hogwarts but DD (Dumbledore) was still very ill from drinking the green liquid protecting the locket in the cave. Draco was supposed to kill him but chickened out. Then Snape waltzed in and DD goes "Snape...please" and Snape kills DD. So he is dead. All is sad. Tonks and Lupin are totally in love. BILL AND FLEUR, These two are engaged and have a wedding planned for the opening summer in Book 7, so unless something goes seriously wrong, these two are sticking together. Harry breaks up with Ginny and says he is not going to Hogwarts next year so he can look for the remaining horcruxes, and Ron and Hermione say they will help him.

Harry finds a note in the locket that says :

To the Dark Lord
I know I will be dead long before you read this
but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret.

It was a fake locket. So now they are on the hunt for the real locket and the other horcruxes. And we are all DYING to know who the hell R.A.B. is!

The best RAB theories are Regulus and Borgin.

A lot of people think that R.A.B. is Sirius' brother, Regulus Black. He is only mentioned 3 times in Half-Blood Prince.
Regulus was a Death Eater who tried to disassociate himself from Voldemort. He was killed on Voldemort's orders. Sirius thought he wasn't worhty to be killed by himn, but nevermind that... The note left by R.A.B. addresses Voldemort as The Dark Lord, and Death Eaters are the only ones that call him that, generally. We don't know for sure of a middle name, but names that are "A's" in the family are Alphard and Arcturus...
Snape is really a good guy I think. He is just misunderstood.

I don't think it is Harry. I think that if he was the horcrux why would Voldy try to kill him? But that could be that Voldy is thinking of the prophecy that he thought said only one could live, but I think the prophecy was talking about Neville. OR is Neville the prophecy?

AND the MAJOR possiblility that DUMBLEDORE is the 7th horcrux! That could be the very reason what DD meant when saying "Snape...please", because a man like DD would not be beggin for his life. Yes, my strongest guess is that DD is the final horcrux, and Snape knew, which all means Snape is good, good, good. It is either DD or the wand in Ollivander's window that Harry feels magic when he enters. :)

well the half blood prince is snape.it makes sense as he was the school's potions master.draco's assignment was to get into hogwarts with many death eaters and kill dumbledore himself.snape will kill dumbledore with an avada krevada."when harry and dumbledore go to destroy the horcrux,dumbledore has to drink continuosly from a liquid and he gets so weak but they get the horcrux eventually(snape's locket).then they apparate back to hogsmeade when they see the dark mark above hogwarts.then they head to hogsmeade on madam rosmerta's broomsticks then they saw draco who told them that he found a way between hogwarts and diagon alley through a broken cabinet so he fixed but he couldn't still kill dumbledore.harry was about to attack draco but dumbledore petrified harry and told draco to keep talking.just then snape came in and performed the avada krevada on dumbledore.harry was sure dumbledore was dead because harry could move again.then a terrible battle went between the students(harry,ron,hermione,neville and luna)and the death eaters.some of the order were there too.bill weasley got bit by the werewolf who bit lupin but it wasn't full moon so no one knows what happened to him yet.next,they were in the hospital wing(harry and his friends with the weasley's and phlegm,lupin and tonks were there too.).phlegm said that she wouldn't leave bill because he was a werewolf.then mrs weasley hugged her and welcomed her in the family.tonks then told lupin that they too could get married(tonks's sadness was bcos she was in love with lupin.)after that harry goes to mcgonall's office (she took dumbledore's office after he died).mcgonall said that hogwart's would be closed.in dbledr's funeral.harry breaks up with ginny bcos he,ron and hermione decide they're not going to go to hogwart's the year after if it's open bcos they are going to go looking for therest of the horcruxes.(by the way,the horcrux in slythrine's locket was destroyed b4 harry and dbledr arrived at the cave.a letter was left inside it by smne calles R.A.B)
