Dave McKean has a new book of photographs/illustrations coming out in about a week, and I can't find a bookstore who is stocking it. Maybe comic book stores will, but I don't know of many.

The Light Within The Shadow


In each shadow there exists

Evil deeds and hazy mists

Twisted minds they writhe in fright

Hiding from the new found light

For every heart lays twixt their height

Lies their true essence, their true light

Evil shrieks and leaves its place

Light consumes and fills that space

And every soul which slays the beast

With dagger, sword, and mace will feast

Their new found light shall rest in peace

Forever for all eternity...

Hi! Im 12 years old (girl) and I erally need to read at school but I can never find a book that I really like. Im in 7th grade and have a fairly high reading level but I will appreciate any ideas for books**** Please give me suggestions for books-
please dont say lemony snicket- i have read all those and all the narnia books.

Well lets say that you have a bf/gf and he/she is always making you happy. At school everyone says" I cant believe that you guys are still going out because he/she never even liked you in the first place" You and you bf/gf have a talk about this. Shattered sunlight pierces

The silent orchard,

Merrily spreading the dawn

Across velvet gardens,

Of daylight, vanishing

Beneath faraway ridges and seas.

Morning Glories ascend

i was completely unaware of this, but, apparently, some American colonists were upset by America's seeking of French support during the American Revolutionary War. Does anyone know why this might be? I mean, u would think the colonists (who weren't loyalists) would want all the help they could get, right? i am baffled.... any help would be appreciated.
