You can have a talent for running, but if you don't train you'll never complete a marathon.

Acting is a craft. In many ways it's no different than any other form of art. Taking classes allows you to develop new skills that can enhance whatever talent is there.

Talent comes naturally...classes are what you take to enhance your natural abilities and to learn technique. If you want to find out if you have talent, try out for roles in community theater....you won't get paid but the experience will be invaluable. If after doing this in your spare time for a few years, you find you have the talent and still have the desire, take those classes and start going on professional auditions.

Of course! Anybody is capable of acting.
If you're just looking into a local theater, go for it!

However if you really want to persue in acting as a carrer, you should take classes! There's lots of opportunities everywhere, search the web or check the newspaper for any listings.

Also, acting a lot of time comes with singing. Even if you aren't into singing, taking lessons will really help you with your stage presence. Look into it.

Good luck!

acting talent has nothing to do with how many classes youve taken. it comes naturally, and if you really want to start taking classes you should start at an intro to theatre class. or a stage movement class... these classes will only help you improve the technique you are already building on.
break a leg hun.

Acting is a natural talent. The best actors are people with a self identity crisis.

of course, talent isn't learned in classes, your talents may be developed in classes and they look good on a resume but no, talent is all natural baby!!

it is possible but it helps if you work on the talent alittle out side of the theatre (read scripts on your own and stuff like that)

Yes, it happens more than you know. Especially in the movies. They want naturals.
