I'm looking for 20th/21st century sculptures made in the United States. It has to be somewhat famous, not just those that are found in shopping sites. Also, since we're going to be making a copy out of candlewax for our project in arts, please help me find those that are not too complicated. Thanks.

....If, life is all about learning and reforming spiritually, then why is it that we are not able to recall any event from our past lives? ( if there are such lives in the first place!). Had we been able to rememeber our misdoings and known that we are being 'punished' for those particular wrong actions, don't u think that we would ammend our ways and become better individuals.?! Why go through this blind maze-like grind of getting the 'brickbats' for our past misdoings without knowing at all as to what those misdoings were. IMO, it would have been fascinating ( though limitedly so, as such a sense would also facilitate the retention of painful memories, I believe ) to have been endowed with the intellectual faculty of knowing our past lives- we would then know as to what reaction was exactly provoked by which action and halt this seemingly never-ending cycle of birth and rebirth ( if there is anything like this !). Do comment. Ty

I looked at the painting Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I (http://www.overstockart.com/poofadbli19.html) it was done by Gistav Klimt - http://www.overstockart.com/klimtgallery.html. It is a painting of a a lady called Adelle Bloch Bauer and I heared it was bought for a lot of money.
Can anyone tell me how much it was bought for and if it is the highest amount anyone has ever paid for an oil painting?

My brother got this kit today and it has no instruction manual. I'm not sure if you paint it right after you sculpt, if you bake it, or if you leave it overnight. If it's one of the latter two, how long do you leave/bake it for? If you bake it, what temperature?
