My favorite is a series called the Baynes Clan by John S. McCord. It's a shoot-em-up with really good fight scenes and hilarious situations that will having you laughing.

ok how about some good authors with many books all good, zane grey and louis l'amour have written hundreds between them and i've enjoyed every single one. these are true old-fashioned westerns with values and sacrifice.........let me know what you think, hope you enjoy them as much as i do.
