I looked at the painting Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I (http://www.overstockart.com/poofadbli19.html) it was done by Gistav Klimt - http://www.overstockart.com/klimtgallery.html. It is a painting of a a lady called Adelle Bloch Bauer and I heared it was bought for a lot of money.
Can anyone tell me how much it was bought for and if it is the highest amount anyone has ever paid for an oil painting?

well that depends on who made it,how rear it is,what year its from & what condiction it's in but there are people who have been know to pay up to 10 mil for some which is crazy
