You always hear about these people being irrate or angry or up in arms about this or that. Why? Why don't you ever hear about them giving back to the community or sponsoring charity drives or inventing new things that are good for the world? Why do they just enjoy burning other country's flags and yelling and throwing stones and stuff?

I have an essay due for my history 241 class on wednesday. The essay cannot be more than 1500 words. Need to be on mesopotamian society along with the affects due to the code of hammurabi. If anyone knows any useful information, such as links that would be great. Thanks! Once I get the ball rolling I believe i'll be fine and I feel that once I get a detailed outline of what I will write then that will be good. I'm planning to do a standard essay so many paragraphs in length. If anyone would be nice enough to help me out i would truly appreciate it. Thank you, as i am a freshman in college and am not really savvy on the whole mesopotamia and code of hammurabi deal. :-)

We, this people, on a small and lonely planet
Traveling through casual space
Past aloof stars, across the way of indifferent suns
To a destination where all signs tell us
It is possible and imperative that we learn
A brave and startling truth.

And when we come to it
To the day of peacemaking
When we release our fingers
From fists of hostility
And allow the pure air to cool our palms

When we come to it
When the curtain falls on the minstrel show of
hate
And faces sooted with scorn are scrubbed clean
When battlefields and coliseum
No longer take our unique and particular sons and daughters
Up with the bruised and bloody grass
To lie in identical plots in foreign soil

One year ago when i was living in PA, i was driving home from work and i see a guy with his kids selling some items like a mini yard sale,he said he was moving and was like in a rush to sell everything. I see this beautiful painting, keep in mind i draw & paint and have a great talent so not many art impress me,but i have never ever seen something like this,he sold it to me for $30 dollars. Me & my boyfriend took it home and put it up and we were just starring at it, It is very big and it is a original painting i really don't know what paint was used, and who the artist is because the name is really hard to understand. Everyone that goes to my house ask me were i got it from, they are like "wow" when they see it,I am not exagerating i am very serious there is something about this painting, i started wondering who could have painted this and i can't find the artist because i have no name besides the painting(I can't uderstand the name).

Is there a website that you could place a photo of a painting and experts could say who they think the artist is? I am really trying to know who it is,the painting it's hard to describe but i will try until i take a picture of it, It is like all blue(darkblue) with black shadow,it has a big mountain, trees, and water like coming down from the mountain, the water is like white painting. It looks as if you are in this big blue world, like everything that is supposed to be green in "real life" in the painting is blue, but with black around.I don't know i just know it is a painting you can't avoid to stop and stare at it,I mean everyone that goes inside my house ask me the same question "Who is the artist" "Were did you buy it from" I have seen so many painting online of blue stuff and i haven't found one that looks like it. The frame is like carved wood or something, please let me know if you have seen a painting like i describe to see if i could find the artist or any advice on were i could check. Thank You.

is in consideration also.....Anyone who is in my age bracket and has been there is being asked...What is of interest there to SEE that may not include the riding of rides...as I will be visiting with a dis-abled child that of that will not be able to participate .Any shows...,marine,or otherwise,parks..???...well you get the picture...(or) a suggestion to another point of interest within that milage radious would be appreciated if you feel there may not be anything at Disney that would excite me and get me feeling, that it was a wasted day...and I should'a'...could'a' done or seen with the day that would have been more interesting ?This IS my first trip to anywhere near that location, ever taken...

The hour of the wolf
has now ended. Cocks
crow. The world is built up
again, struggling in darkness.

The child gives in to night-
Mares, while the grown
Man fears his fear.

I must leave this island,
Struggling to be born
from blackness.

Fear the good deep dark
American Night.
Blessed is night.

The flood has subsided
The movie panic & the
chauffered drive
Thru the suburbs.

Wild folks in weird dress
by the side of the highway.

I don't see how the language and universe Tolkien created is more sophisticated than the language and society created by Rowling in the Harry Potters. They just appeal to a different audience.

Just curious about the differences in the Iranian culture between the religions and how they view men and women's roles? I don't see there being much difference between a Catholic and a Mormon. But I'm not religious person. I think being American is what sets the standard and was curious about Iranian culturevs. religion?

I checked out Preditors and Editors (which was a little helpful) but I need a publisher interested in short stories. All the ones I keep finding are ony interested in novel-length works or journalism.
