I have two favorites: Tom Hanks and Steve Martin. Extreme skill in putting themselves into situations and acting from the inside. "Big" for example. Tom Hanks really expressed for me what it would be like for a child to be in an adult body. And Steve Martin in "All of Me" did something of the same thing when Edwina Cutwater was in his body. Each of them had a very distinctive way of depicting those roles. I really think there ought to be a separtate Academy Award for comedy roles because I think they are much more difficult to act well but don't get the same recognition that dramatic roles do.

Don't know about the best but I like Steve Martin.
Robin Williams is funny in a manic-type way.
They both have that visual thing going on too.

the best comedy actor is yourself in your own world ,you made your kids laugh ,you made your parents laugh, and even the croud sometimes if you made funny good things to the world or to your self or family.............you are the best comedy actor........in your own world .......no other ...it's you.. so keep up the good work to be the best again next coming years ......even just to your own world....
