I don't know where this website came from but I don't know if Mc Books are a good idea. One should think of what they want to say, and choose the right words for the occasion. If he is asking for money it might be better to go without this "training". A book is not something you just slap together. We are moving more, and more towards an instant world, where it is full of self-gratification, without the though of what consequences come with it. You might actually be able to write a book in 14 days, but will it be as good? Take the time needed to complete things to your satisfaction.

Why don't you check out The Modern Writer's Handbook by Frank O' Hare published by Macmillan. It comes in a pack with lost of supplies such as stuff for your PC ans workbook so you can practice the way you want and it's full of pieces of practical advice. I'm just going thru it and it's really a great help. It'll take you more than just 14 days but the practice will give you skills so that your work will have a good quality and not just be a quicky.

If you really want to try and write something in a short period of time, try http://www.nanowrimo.org/ (it's a free "competition" to write 50,000 words in the month of November).

It's a lot of fun and there's a great support group of people to talk to and write with. However, it's not easy. Writing a book is WORK and it takes effort. You will get frustrated. You will need to practice, like with any other skill. You will need an appropriate amount of time to write it.

The claim in that quote of "Even if you only have a few minutes a day to make it happen" just boggles my mind! Go spend ten minutes writing, and see how many words you get! You are not going to get a book done in fourteen days writing only a few minutes a day.

I could possibly write a book in fourteen days-- if I didn't have to go to work and could spend eight to twelve hours a day working on it. But that's just not going to happen anytime soon!

Save your money. If you want to buy a book on writing, try one of these:
1) "Writing Down the Bones" by Natalie Goldberg
2) "Bird by Bird" by Anne Lamott
3) "No Plot? No Problem" by Chris Baty
4) "On Writing Well" by William Zissner

If you are serious about writing, spend your money enrolling in a reputable writing course. And write, and re-write, and re-write again.

If you are not serious about writing, then just write. Have fun with it.
Look around the net for some free sites with information about writing successful conflict, how to structure your story, ect.

Programs like this are a waste of time and money.

Also, the blurb has double exclamation marks. I highly doubt that anyone trained to write, or who has ever been published, would use double explanation marks. Not only is it grammatically incorrect, it makes you look lazy, unprofessional, and incapable of getting your point across articulately. It's not the work of a “Master Writer.”

That's impossible. It takes around fourteen days just to get the plot, characters, theme, setting, etc down on paper. A well written novel takes about a year or more to finish.

If you wrote about twenty pages a day it's possible. I wouldn't think that your book would be much good at that speed though.
