I was told that the statue of liberity was originally designed to be put in Egypt in celebration of the opening of the Suez Canal , and that funding prevented that from happeneing .
However, when I searched online I found nothing about that .Would someone care to clarify the truth for me ?

I'm a complete beginer looking to get a good foundation in Acting for film and television. The one month intensive courses seem like a good idea. But the only ones I have found are the New York film Academy and the Acting Corps. I'm just wondering if these are any good. Any Advice would be greately appreciated! Thank you!

I discovered the genre, lol, and don't know that many authors or whatever.

I've only read Elizabeth Moon b/c it's set in space, about a tradeship and it involves adventure and no romance! <<< no romance is crucial for me, otherwise it seems to typical.

is an old gnarled and sun bleached fence post covered in lichen beautiful? a flood lit factory wreathed in fog? the sky reflected in the puddles of wheel ruts on a demolition site? needle sharp rain on a cold, grey day blown by a wind that cuts to the bone. why are portraits of old people so much more beautiful? is there beauty in desolation? or are you with the chocalate box school of aesthetics?

I'm use to Enlighten Me, but I like the Name Riddle Me This, but that name seems to imply that I'm asking questions as opposed to Enlighten Me which seems as though I'm seeking answers, even though some people think that implies I know every thing, that I'm Enlightened.

Experiment. For example, somebody asks you 'What's the sound of one hand clapping?' Well, off you go with a tape-recorder, find a guy with only one hand, and tell him to clap. Am I missing something, here?
