This was the big date-getter when I was dateable.
How many couples still "go dancing" after their married.
I hated it then and I still do.
I'd love to see someone from Chubby Checker's age dance the Twist today.

How do you feel about the fact that the universe is infinately huge and deals in terms of 100s of billions of years while you yourself deal in terms of 10s. No God responses please. Thank you.

I mean, I've already got one. But I want another. But keep the one I already got. In case it gets better. Actually I want all your lives. I'm hungry for life. (animal noises)

The answers to both Q's must be based on your personal beliefs & values & interests and your free will choices based on them, because there are no necessary and/or sufficient number of facts of any kind that will give you the necessary and sufficient knowledge you are seeking. The fact is there are no facts to determine what you chose to believe in ,what values to live by, and what interests to pursue. And there are no material facts to prove either God exists or does not exist. Belief in God and one's meaning and purpose in life is an existential choice of faith and hope that life is not meaningless or without purpose.

People think "cutters" are emo. But hey, theyre all wrong. EMOS cut themselves, yes, its true, but they do it for sheer attention. Sometimes they even draw cuts and bruises with makeup too. REAL CUTTERS have REAL PROBLEMS unlike emos, that WISH they had something to whine about. Thus, they do this sh*t and make a fool out of everyone. this is my emo philosophy. So am i right or what?

I've noticed that the History Channel has been airing a few shows lately that boldly refer to Jesus' life as a historical reference point...
On a show this afternoon, they had a guy reciting a story from the bible (in his own words) and the caption under him said "Historian" NOT "Biblical Historian" or "Theologan" which is what he actually was being on the show...

I'm not interested in debating whether its right or wrong - we all have our opinions - I'm really just wondering which side of this issue the History Channel is on?

In the modern world people try to make distances between each other. They hardly get time to share between each other. The more they earn the more the distant they are. Lust, greed enhance this distance. But if there is a natural calamity or adversities in life coming, they tend to come closer and help each other. These events make them to feel what they are and how they should be. So isn't adversities in life a boon?

or do you really mean "everyone's RIGHT to have an opinion should be respected"? It's not the same t thing. I will acknowledge that any yahoo can form an opinion and is entitled to it but is it incumbent on us to be polite when we clearly don't share those opinions?

Your opinions?

What made people so interested in what Einstein etc. thought about religion or economics? No one cares what C.S. Lewis or Keynes thought about physics, so why the opposite?
