Tommy, you reply is duly noted. It's not the answer I was looking for, but in all honesty I really can't name one thing that the Earth is better of for with the existence of humans. Though your reply is somewhat dismal, you make an excellent point.

Why must we have a reason to exist? Why can't we simply exist and make the most of it?

People hear that we are mere accidents of nature with no predetermined purpose, and this offends them for some reason. But their offense at this notion is nothing but a human emotion, with no grounding in rational thought. Their desire for there to be a greater purpose or reason for their existence is mere wishful thinking.

We are sovereign individuals with free will. Whether one believes that we were made that way by god or that that is simply the result of our natural evolution, either way points to our lives having but one purpose: Whatever the he|| each individual one of us wants it to be. The only meaning or purpose to our existence that can have any real meaning or relevance is that which we each create, or discover, for ourselves.

Why do stone exist?, why do trees exist? they exist there in out side or in your mind. Like wise Do you exists as a changeless "you". The you is in a continuous flex. The reason is unknown. Anytheory people bring for that is a "theory" not "proven". Any enquiry to that unknown is also "meritless" so meaningless. So considering all the above points eventhough no much connectin with each other, the above question should not waste much of our time. But, we should instead think about the science of "cause and effect" how the current actions and thoughts effects our future course. So, inorder to correct your future course, drop this question and work on Urgent and immediate and correct them.

You exist to destroy the planet.

Humans are simply vectors. What diseases, parasites, plagues and misinformation they cannot transmit in person they deliver with technology.

The "species" is at best the supreme mistake of the universe. An upright sack of flesh, filled with puss. A putrid dumpster whose main claim to fame is the ability to carry five or more pounds of parasites and foreign bacteria in its intestines.

Additionally it carries a full compliment of worms necessary for its reduction, having "evolved" to the point that it cannot produce suitable compost.

Even in life the "human" cannot deficiate, like the the higher animals, without spreading disease.

A really honest look at the "human" shows that the unit is alien to the planet. Its science is just as twisted as its religion. Based on the history of the unit, it is apparent that it exists to destroy the planet.

While you may disagree, I ask you. Show me one thing wrong with this earth that the absense of "humans" would not cure.

You have evolved to the point that you have no ecological purpose except that of your own imaginations. It has become clear that your reason for existance is to destroy the earth.

As you know from the little science you have developed; a vector is very hard to get rid of.
Still nature has her ways and mother earth will protect herself and start over; very likely without the supreme mistake.

You exist to make determination of the nature of your existence.

If you decide that in the next minute of your existence, that you're going to have Cookies and Cream ice cream with almond flakes thrown in, then your existence will be to define the experience of doing the ice cream.

In other words, you exist to use all the things at the disposal of your consciousness to construct the nature of your existence. Some call it self-determination, free will, etc.

Have a great existence. Start with calling it great.

For everything that exists there is something to know it. God knows what we still do not. And for everything existent there is its opposite; from opposites we get our very identity (How is light understood without the existence of darkness?). We exist as a component of existence, which is necessary because nothingness (the vacuum of space) exists.

Well if you want to think we are a cosmic accident, then really the question becomes, what do we do about it? The answer to that is to do as little harm & and much good as possible. Religion and Philosophy both concern themselves with the concepts of good and evil. Seek joy.

We exist because of a seemingly infinite succession of causes and effects,.going back to the Big Bang (or perhaps even before it.) Everything in the universe exists as a result of this: natural law.

Yahoo! Answers has provided a great forum for us to meet. In general, the Q&A personalities frequenting the website are friendly, attagonistic, and probably deceitful. Above all, the visitors can interact electronically in the greater interest of robo reality. We exist to respond.

we exist mostly to fulfill a thesis of some great being about love and human nature here on a planet, love is entirely our basis and how we subject ourselves, in, oh so many ways to avoid it, conquer it, control it, dominate it, and destroy it, are all part of a complete observation. We carry the ability to be oh so happy and to shine yet we choose a lazier darker path, rather then just trusting ourselves and letting us float on the pure concept of love.
