Adversities in life can become blessings only if you convert them into opportunities - like the example you quoted; if some one still don't won't to or could not come closer, this adversity could not be converted into an opportunity and he / she would remain at distance.
And this is true in all commercial, personal, social, emotional........ situations.

Very much so a blessing! Bravo, you seem to be getting the bigger picture of life here. I'm so happy some people are really "getting it". Any adversity is a blessing but one must be "aware" of this fact. Most people see life and its problems as something to grow angry about and become bitter but its not meant to be that way at all. We must learn to be more compassionate as a result of this. Humanity will figure this out in a million years or so but for now we as a race are too young and unevolved to figure this out yet. I have hope yet especially when I see things like what you wrote! I'm pleased some people are actually getting it!

It is my belief that adversities are a boon, we may not see it at the time but they occur to either teach us something to help us grow or to assist someone else in growing. The only thing that is hard to remember is that if we don't learn the lesson needed we may have to face the test again and again until we do.
Bright Blessings

Well dear, thats up to u, what do want to accept it as...
Everything has a positive as well as a negetive aspect to it. Just because u think people come closer during adversities dosent mean they r all that good. Many people lose their loved ones during these adversities also.
Its like the two faces of a coin,
its up to u wat do u want to look at.

Yeah. But often only in hindsight. At the time you just want to get back to normal. This, however, can give you a greater appreciation of normalcy. Hooray for life!
