What do you think, if no war destroys us, the future will be like in 100 years? What advancements? Inventions? Theories? Morals?

It opens with a family living in NZ, but they move to Australia where the father has a wealthy sister living in the Outback.

THere are about 6 or 7 kids - the oldest is Frank who is illegitimate, and who cannot get on with his stepfather, and there is an only girl called Meggie, whm the story centres around. THere is a Catholic priest called Ralph de Briccasart or something, and he falls in love with Meggie.

The story follows Meggies life throughout her growing up, marraige (which fails), and children. Eventually, her son dies, and the story winds down.

Meggie's daughters name is Justine, and she ends up with a German whom she meets at the Vatican when visting her brother (who became a priest).

It may have been written by Bryce Courtenay, does anyone know?

Help me out here - this has been bugging me for days - you know how it is when you just can't think of something????!!!!

What was the name and date of the meeting held by Emperor Constantine of Rome, where Christian leaders decided which books to include in the canon, and which would not remain in the bible? Which books were excluded? I know of the Gnostic works, such as the gospel of Mary, but that’s all. I would greatly appreciate your accurate and unbiased HISTORICAL information. If you wish I would also appreciate your opinion on why the select books that’s were chosen were chosen. Was it political, theological, or chronological? By the way this is not my homework, just one of many topics that I may decide to write on in two weeks for a research paper

My current favorite is by Stephanie Laurens in Scandal's Bride (yup, a bodice-ripper!)
