Can anyone please help me out? I'm auditioning for a play and need a monologue. Any good sites to find one, most preferable ones from movies and books? Thanks so much.

Check out Monologue Search at http://www.monologuesearch.com

New monologues are being added every day! The site is free and I think it might just do the trick! Also, if you can't find something on the site, you can email us and we will recommend something to you based on information you provide.

because it truly is a contest, i might want to work out what type of monologues have received in previous years. Doing a monologue about searching a monologue might want to be humorous, yet they could not approve of unique monologues. also the question of length is major to boot. seem at previous years' winners and see what type of monologues the judges have popular and in case you could tell the position those monologues got here from. it truly is your staggering guess!

I can't remember what it was called, but I did a search on poetry and food, and I found a monologue site with a milkshake monolouge. It was this old lady with old boyfriends camping on her lawn waiting for her next milkshake. Full of innuendo, and I did it in a sexy southern accent. Do a search, maybe you'll find it.

How about something from "The Belle of Amherst"? It is a one-woman play about Louisa May Alcott.

I like bits from Pfeiffer's People. My favorite is the lady with the rose in her teeth.
