Why are people such morons when it comes to everyday life? Too stupid understand that everyone just wants to be left alone. Why does everyone want to get in everyones busissness? I couldn't care enough about someone elses lifestyle to want to pry into their world and tell them what they can and can't do.

I know I don't, and I'm not talking about simple foul language, I'm talking about pedophiles and gangsters. I put this in Philosophy because I don't know where else to stick it. I know, ha-ha. Let's try some serious answers, that's what I'm looking for. Thanks.

I saw the movie and in the end the girl auditions for Julliard and emmediately gets in becasue of her dance moveis and ballet gracefulnes. I know that there is much more needed to become a dancer, such as having the body, smile, and magic and potential for dance. I just want to know if the dance that got her (teh main characer) into Julliard
really what someone needs to get in. The dance was beautiful but is that all that is needed in terms of dance moves to get into Julliard. Or was the producer just excagerating.

1) When water flows in an empty bay
After the moon rises and the people lay
The mist sprays gently onto the rocks
While the devil sits on the old wooden dock
Many people say that he is the one
Who will over take the setting sun
But I am inclined to disagree
For that battle will be between the devil and me

2) Just give me a moment to grieve for my heart
For it was destined with a fate that was doomed from the start
I am trapped in a place that was once called my room
But now as I lie here, it is more like a tomb
When I gaze through the curtains into the black night
All I can see is a faint dim light
And I wonder if my soul, as empty as can be
Could ever be so bold, as to shine upon the sea
I am tortured by a darkness that taunts me everyday
Yet I yearn for the darkness that takes the pain away
My heart has fallen deeper than anyone can know
And I am cursed with a desease that I can never show

It's an old one but if you've read it..do you think the writer's intention was to compose a "moral parable" or simply entertain. Or a bit of both?

is this a good poem? I wrote it 4 my babigurl

vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv...

The words I seek
Remain lost
Love may come
But at a cost

You see, my love
My feelings are strong
My heart pumps fast
For what belongs

Come with me, my dear
Let me show you my heart
Only then will our happiness
Never fall apart

Open your eyes
Don't let your feelings hide
Walk with me hand in hand
Side by side

I do feel for you, my love
Deep down inside
It's you that I see
When I close my eyes

I've seen you
In a million dreams
You're my life
My beauty-queen

Hello everybody!
"Mélodie d'amour" was a famous piano solo piece (and there is a version for two pianos too) composed by Hans Engelmann in early 1900's. In early 1950's some american artists popularized it as a song (they added words to music) with the title in english: "Song of love". Well, I know about that... What I'm looking for: a biography of Hans Engelmann (is it a "real name" or a "pseudonym"?), where and when he was born/died, his works... etcetera. Thanks a lot!
