I liked his older material but the last 4 or 5 books have been real stinkers. They have a great build up and you expect something great, then halfway through it, it is almost as if he has reached his deadline and he has to finish it up really quick and the excitement and plot just fall apart. Sigh. He used to be so good.
Now I like Joseph Finder and Lisa Scottoline for my legal thrillers.

Yep. My favorite was the Client - what a riot. They could have done so much more with the film - they cut out the whole pizza ordering scene!

Absolutely ... have read them all, and there weren't any I didn't like, though there were a couple I didn't care for the endings on, but hey, he's a good author who does his research.
