The words I seek
Remain lost
Love may come
But at a cost
You see, my love
My feelings are strong
My heart pumps fast
For what belongs
Come with me, my dear
Let me show you my heart
Only then will our happiness
Never fall apart
Open your eyes
Don't let your feelings hide
Walk with me hand in hand
Side by side
I do feel for you, my love
Deep down inside
It's you that I see
When I close my eyes
I've seen you
In a million dreams
You're my life

As a selected poet to be published this year by the international poet's library...I would have to agree, you have talent, and yes, I do like your poem. I think it's quite natural, and beauitfully expresses the love of your newborn child

sure, if you wrote it yourself,....its good.
one tip,,......."deliver" it with a rose or two,.......and be prepared to come up with another poem every year on say, your anniversary,...whatever you decide that is
