Sometimes i just wanna reach out to you, just to whisper tender words, so soft, so sweet. sometimes i just wanna hold you close and feel your heartbeat. sometimes i wish you could see the world through my eyes so i can reveal to you my only prize that i keep and dream about in my sleep. to your disprize as my prize if you could only see through my eyes and reveal to you my only prize. to read between all these lies. so they can all die and reveal to you what i see through my eyes, you my only prize, the one i cherish, love, and keep so deep?

Think about this, you know he is Jesus, right in front of you he communicates with GOD and the heavens move, and he tells you he has so much more for you but you have to wait for the right time,God's time which we say is the best.

If you think about this question, it is not, I propose, a simple answer. Computers (Cray, IBM) have beat the best human players the world has to offer. If a computer can reduce a game to a mere exercise in logic, and God has to follow the same deterministic rules of the universe that the computer does, at best, any game would end in a draw. God does not get to fool with the computer. You may think "Who cares?", however, and even though this may be a "how many angels fit on the end of a pin" question, it's interesting to think about. Or, for the philosophers out there, is there some easy explanation for why this doesn't seem, upon reflection, to be an easy "Yes"?

why are people so mean to others? I ask because I work at a store where apparently I am supposed to take cruelty from others? I don't think so! Its very stressful and I cannot quit my job without severe consequences, but staying is causing me great pain due to stress

Is it always true that what goes up must always come down? Or have modern physics, technologies or knowledge about the universe disproven this theory?

From a philosophical point of view... is this true or not? Your mood, success, relations, knowledge, objects, life, career, ilusions, whatever... if the go up, do they necessarily have to come down?
What do you think?

Poll time! Which, in your opinion, is the best order in which to read the Chronicles of Narnia? Published order, or chronological?

For those of you not in the know, the published order is as follows:
1. The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe
2. Prince Caspian
3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
4. The Silver Chair
5. The Horse and His Boy
6. The Magician's Nephew
7. The Last Battle

The chronological order is thus:
1. The Magician's Nephew
2. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
3. The Horse and His Boy
4. Prince Caspian
5. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
6. The Silver Chair
7. The Last Battle

And do correct me if I'm wrong on any of those.

In my opinion, I like the published order better, if only because I much prefer reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe first than The Magician's Nephew. There's just more magic in it when you read LWW before TMN.

So what does everyone else think?

I'm one of those people who wants to go and find out the "true story" after reading a good piece of historical fiction. So, it usually drives me nuts to learn that the author has taken huge leaps of literary license.

Little stuff is one thing. No one can know what historical figures really thought or did on a day-to-day basis. But for a while, it seemed every book I was reading was throwing improbable romantic pairings at me - and that every future king or queen of England was actually someone else's bastard.

Your thoughts?
