I think they might be wicca pissed. But on the other hand they might be wicca glad. Parents are wicca unpredictable.

Don't ever be ashamed of your true beliefs.

You are who and what you are, and as long as this is what you want and it's what makes you happy, don't be ashamed of it and don't feel that you have to walk on eggshells when considering others in your life.

You are going to be the best judge of their potential reaction, so go from there.

If they have made you aware through their words or actions that your choice of belief systems is going to cause trouble, then you should consider very carefully how you bring it to their attention.

For example, if your friends/family are very religious, to the point that this is a focus in their lives, then they may not want to hear that you are not of their religion, let alone one that they might mark as evil or counter to their beliefs.

If they are closed minded about anything but what they feel is right or normal, then again you may have difficulty.

If this is so, then you might want to slowly bring it to their attention, or mention someone that you heard about who was a Wiccan, perhaps someone that they admire, and see what their reaction is to that. If possible, research it first and find a famous wiccan that they like/admire and use that person as your test model.

In the end, if it has to happen and people can't accept you for who you are, then you have to decide if that's ok with you. Perhaps you may have to tell them and then accept that they are going to treat you differently afterwards.

No matter what, be yourself.

Hope that this helps.

They will if they are hating like Romans who persecuted Christians when they were innocently blossoming (between 64 and 313 AD). But what are the chances of that, right? They're your friends, if they were retards and couldn't accept you for who you are, you would have dumped them long ago. So just tell them.

I told my Aunt, a very conservative nun from the old school, that I don't go to church anymore. Naturally, she didn't like what she heard. She gave me a hug and told me that she wants me to go to heaven. Whenever I see her since, she mentions nothing about it. She wants me to keep visiting her.

Who you are will show in everything you do and say. Why feel the need to advertise?

Just blunt out tell them. If they have a problem with it, well that's their problem to deal with. I don't know your friends so I don't know if they would hate you for it. Like I said though if they have a problem.................. then its their problem not yours. Do what makes you happy.
