Mine was the Rolling Stones in February of 1966. Also saw The Beatles in August of that year. In between, saw The Lovin' Spoonful.

Irom Butterfly in 1966 at the PennState Campus in State College Pa. It was awesome. Inagadadavida went on for forty some minutes and Ron Bushy did a 15+ minute drum solo while the rest of the band went off stage to well you can tell when they returned they were a little stoned.

AC/DC Back in Black Tour, either late 1980 or early 1981. The Oakland Civic Auditorium in Oakland California. Still by far the loudest concert I've ever been to, I was 16 at that time, and it definitely left an impression on me. The show started with the giant bell dropping to center stage and Brian Johnson pounding on it with a sledgehammer to break into Hell's Bells. My ears rang for 3 days. The Rockets were the opening act. I couldn't believe that there were people openly smoking illegal substances in public. Ahh, the naivety of youth.

Now I'm really dating myself, but it was a rock concert held in Griffith Park in Los Angeles in the 1960's...All I remember is that it was very hot, dusty and I got a corneal abrasion from my hard contacts because of all the dust and dirt!

Do you count the B-52's as a rock concert? If so, summer 1982.
