Why does the screen automatically dim after 5 minutes of inactivity on my macbook pro? Sometimes I'm watching a movie in quick time (not in full screen by the way) and the screen will go dark (not turn off). I can still barely see the icons, but it gets really dark. Obviously just tapping the mouse will brighten the screen again; I've looked around in system preferences, but haven't been able to find a solution. I would appreciate any solutions to this.

my HD phillips Television will only go to one picutre format, wide screen, the other options that are availbe, superzoom, 4:3, movie expand 14: 9, movie expand 15:9, and 16:9 subtitle are all options but are unaviable to selecet. this means all the cahnnels are zoomed in so i cant see a large portion on the bottom and top of picutes, for example i cant see the score and bottom line during espn football games. how do i fix this.

I would really like for my husband and I to renew our wedding vows. Not because we've ever broken any vows. We've never been separated, we have a beautiful family and are completely in love. Mostly, I just want to "re-do" our wedding. We were young and broke, so we didn't exactly have the wedding of our dreams. We don't even have any photos of us together from the big day. I would love to get a great dress, have a real photographer and share the ceremony with a small group of close friends and family.

Are there any "rules" when it comes to this sort of thing? Is it acceptable to renew your vows just because you feel like it?

If we live in a free country, where we are allowed to practice our beliefs. Why deny someone else the same privelige?

I'm a Conservative and I don't agree with the act of homosexuality, but what right under the constitution do I have to deny others their freedom to live as they choose? Are rights only for those I agree with? What about those who don't agree with Christianity or anything else you like to do? What will you say when people want to ban them?
In the Bible I've read I didn't see Jesus running around trying to ban things and control what people did. In fact he associated with publicans and sinners. If he came back today would you also lynch him like they did?

Why not just leave other people alone and work on being the best example you can be.
