A war where we're winning and where we're always winning. It's never actually won but always in the process of being won.

We are always making progress. Never quite enough progress to end the war but always just enough progress to keep the war going.

Also, either the enemy or the objective always changes and then that's always been the enemy or the objective, and the previous enemy or objective was never the goal.

My best guy friend and I fell in love with eachother (we are mid 20s) a few months ago and have now been in a relationship for two months. I still feel in love with him, but I just don't feel like the relationship is working out and I'm not sure if I want the relationship anymore. Are these normal feelings? Have you ever felt that even though you still love someone that you don't feel like the relationship is worth it and that it is too much battle to withstand?

The past few days I've had every neighbor and friend I can think of look at my car, trying anything to save me from an inflated mechanic bill. This is my last hope.

I can't figure out whether I just have a bad battery or my alternator is dead/dying. When I open the door to my car, the lights do come on, but as soon as I turn the key it just dies. Sometimes I heard some weird clicking noises. I have managed to jump it a few times to get it where I was going, but as soon as I turned the car off it was dead again. The last time it went dead it was still running, but someone was testing the battery so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. I was told it was the alternator, but then how was I able to get home. Can the alternater gradually die out? What should I do?

I have an 12 year old daughter who has always been a pretty good child but lately she has been lying about and stealing food. A month ago she stole money off my dresser to buy food and recently she snuck into the refridge to get pop why? I do not know. She knows that she is welcome to any thing in the fridge but she choose to sneak and steal. I was upset with her and told her that her Christmas was going to be cut short if she didn't get her act together. She went back and told my sister that Shes not worried about her Christmas because she knows I want her happy. On Christmas day she was able to see her presents but I did not allow her to use or wear anything. I also made her stay in the house on Christmas day alone while the rest of the family went to visit other relatives. My mom was pissed and said she want nothing else to do with me because of the way I punished my daughter. Am I wrong? and whats up with the stealing food when its available for her?

It just started getting noisy today. For instance, after the fan has stopped running, the blades will still be turning and I can hear them. They would normally make no sound. Is my fan going bad? Also, it starts doing that only after I have been using the laptop for a half hour or so. Do you think it's going bad?

For example, i recently watched some "home movies" from when i was a kid and I haven't seen these old movies since I was a kid and it submerged me into a very strange state of severe , almost paralyzing depression. The same thing happens if i hear a song that i remember from my childhood but haven't heard since then. Luckily this state of depression only lasts for about a half hour, but it is bad enough that if i had to talk to someone or was supposed to be doing something productive, i would not be able to.

I mean I see these people at my church who are so happily married and I am so wanting the same. I feel so unworthy to men. I mean no man wants a overweight woman. Face it!!! It doesn't matter if I have a good heart or not. Men look only on the outside of a woman. I am getting really tired of it too. It just isn't right. I try so hard not to let it get to me but it does. I talk to my friends but it seems I just get over this hump with this on teh way I feel. I feel so alone. ALL the time!! I know this is a pity pot but it gets unbearable sometimes.

t doesn't seem to be working right. For example, I edited my contact list so that the numbers 2-5 will speed dial specific people. BUT when I press "5" to speed dial my 5th person, it will instead bring up any contact with the letters "j, k, & l" since those are the letters designated to that number on the key panel.

Basically my question is HOW do I get it to just speed dial number 5 instead of referring to the letters??

Since when is someone's independant internet musings supposed to enough to convince someone of a fact rather than an opinion? Could a blog be used as concrete evidence in a trial? Can you look a blog up in an encyclopedia? Can you even really prove who wrote the blog most of the time?
