This company is reporting $1,000,000.00 prizes and awards and they have a form at the bottom to fill out for you to pay $39.95 on the Acceptance Forn. This is suppose to be a Sweepstake from a 3rd party. If its possible I would like to know if this is a scam because I did not know you suppose to pay for a sweepstake prize

I was eating at some resteraunt in Chicago. Before I left I give my number to an attractive woman with a Tennessee Titans sweatshirt and either long blonde hair or brown. I am a die hard Titans fan the pro football team. Anyways I tell her to call me. I am about to leave and do but not before coming back to give her a hug. Then I leave and end up talking to some guy on the street who has his own mini store. He reccomends to save money this top exercise program of where it's nothing what looks like a merry go around but it goes in all directions not just right or left.

Can a wooden boat like from the 1500s go up a river? My history teacher said that Africa wasn't explored by Europeans until the 1800s because their boats were wooden and wooden boats can't go up a river because the current would push them back.
Thats why they invented the steam engines.
But then how did boats go up a river to go to London and Seville, and other European naval ports, yet not do the same thing in Africa?

So can these boats go up a river?

She complains that she never gets to see us, and that my parents always get to see us. It's obvious why they do, they live in the same town. My mother is my babysitter. She tries to go against our wishes when we let her have the baby for the weekend, and she fed her rice cereal before I could. I wanted to be the one to feed her first, but she doesn't care. She made a big deal about getting her ears pierced, but my mom wanted to get them pierced too. After all this is my mothers first grandchild, while my m-i-l has two already. My mom just let her do it, so I wouldn't have to deal with her crying about it. I'm a passive person so talk ing to her about it won't do any good, I'll end up letting her do whatever she wants. My husband knows how I feel, and he does talk to her, in fact he demands that she listen to us. She doesn't listen to him either. I'm afraid that we are going to have to threaten her with never letting her have the baby again. It's not fair to keep her granddaughter away

So, I am visiting my parents in NJ, 36 degrees outside. They heat the house to 68 degrees, primarily with the thought that it is less expensive than heating the house to 72 degrees. HOWEVER my thought is that once you reach your desired indoor temperature, it is no difference to maintain the house at 72 degrees than it is at 68 degrees, at least when the outside temperature is that far away from your desired inside temperature. Is this logic true, is it going to take more energy to maintain the inside temperature at a higher degree, or is it just the initial closing of the gap where the cost is?

My pay schedule is going to change from weekly to bi-monthly. Im under the impression (and hopefully im wrong), that a higher percentage will be taken out because the check will be bigger, even though im still making the exact same amount yearly. Hope this isnt true because it would mean that my take home pay would be less now. Im looking for clarification from someone who knows about this.

The other day I finally decided to switch from pads to tampons! I had tried putting tampons in before but they hurt so obviously I put them in wrong.So I figured I've been on my period for a about 3 years now so I should try tampons and read the directions carefully.Well the first time i tried I did it successfully! Then that same day I changed it about 4 hours later and put my second tampon on and it didn't feel much differnt than the first time I put one in earlier that day. But a few hours later I started feeling dizzy and light headed.I was in the car on the way to my grandmas when it started getting bad so I thought It might of been car sickness, but then we walked in and the lights hurt my head and I felt like I was going to pass out! I decided to take it out because I knew that wasn't supoosed to happen and almost imediatly when I took it out I felt better! What's going on please help me!!!

This annoys the **** out of me and it is to the point to where I may stop going to her house for dinner. We usually have Thanksgiving and Christmas at my aunt's house, and everybody is responsible for bringing some sort of dish or contributing to the dinner. The family loves my potato salad so I always bring that along with napkins, plates, plastic ware, ice and beverages. Sometimes I will buy a ham and ask my aunt to cook it or cook it myself.

For Thanksgiving I brought a ham and they didn't like it because it was a "cheap" picnic ham. I personally like picnic ham. That's what I was raised on. They claim "cheap" hams are too salty. Whenever I buy soda I know it has to be name brand otherwise they'll talk about that. The sad thing is some of the off-brand sodas taste like the name brand sodas. My aunt prefers Vanity Fair napkins so she expects me to spend the money on those. I think a napkin is a napkin, especially if you're not having anything fancy.
