Have a blanket for yourself and he will have his own, therefore, if he decides to throw off his blanket and shut off the heater you will still be nice and warm. You also could put a heater on your side of the bed and let the warm air hit you and you will be happy.

This is not uncommon - men and women have different metabolisms due to hormonal differences, etc. Just wait until you get to menopause, and start kicking off the covers in 30 degree weather because you are having a hot flash!

You should get extra blankets for your side of the bed, etc. It acutally is not good to sleep with the heater too high - dries out the nasal passages and makes you more susceptible to respiratory infections. It also makes it harder to sleep.

If you set your thermostat between 68 and 72 degrees, and leave it that way 24/7, you'd save on your heating bills.

Now that aside, if he turned the heater off totally, then I'd collect some clothing and go stay at a hotel until he decides to turn the heat back on.

If he's too hot, tell him to make house in the basement, garage, or out in the dog house.

Hah, sounds JUST like my house! I'm bundled up in an electric blanket with 3 pairs of socks and tons of sweatshirts, and he's sitting there sweating in shorts and a t-shirt! I usually just go to the basement and turn on our electric fireplace to keep somewhat warm! Sorry I can't help, but I feel your pain!

Every night!!!

He's not being a jerk. Men can't sleep if they're too hot. Buy a heated blanket and keep it all on your side. Or... have HIM buy you a heated blanket.

I'm sure he doesn't even know that he's doing anything wrong. Sweetly say you're cold at night and he'll accomodate. There is NO REASON to yell at him.

That should be the least of you worries when you consider the facts of life:

1. There is no Santa
2. There might be a Bigfoot
3. All men cheat, almost all women cheat
4. Marriage ruins all relationships (moving in is the same)
5. Everyone lies (you even lie to yourself)
6. Life is not fair

Good luck and Happy Holidays. Email me
if you want to hear the truth. I don't lie.

what's the temp? I keep our heat down too. A few blankets and sweaters do the trick.
