I just asked my gf of 2.5 years to marry me. She said yes, and we are so happy!!
Her unsaved father has never supported our relationship, and is not giving his blessing.
We have tried to honor him and respect him all this time, but he is just divorced and hates marriage.
We are strong Christians, and have asked our pastors for advice, I just fig'd I'd come on here and see others perspectives.
My ?? is, how do i address this? What is the most Godly way to answer him?

My boyfriend and I of 3 years and 8 months recently broke up. This is the second time this has happened and is around the sametime of year. Everything was going great we were getting along great. He was even bringing me dinner!!! He just thought we should take time to ourselves since we are in our first semester of college and we are so stressed. It has now been 5 weeks. Throughout it though I was asked on a date and I didn't go and he knows that but he still wants to pout at me about it. The other day he said that he thinks of me everyday and catches hiself wanting to pick up the phone and call even though we have talked at least once a week throughout this. However he said he still doesn't know if we will get back together, but feels that hopefully everything will work out in time. Will he come back around?? Should I just "disappear" for a few week and then pop back up after I have given things time or will he already be over it?

I psychic told me that in a past life I was a Native American woman who was a cave dweller in Arizona during the 10th or 11th century. Could this have happened? What groups were in Arizona during that time period and did they live in caves. Also, she told me I was a story teller and known for my stories. he was shot at 12 lost his left leg. he is now 18 and has gone away from home after blaming my parents in many nasty fights for his "position". he use to wear a prostetic leg which he lost at an airport after he fell asleep. He use to sleep at this airport hoping to get tickets out of the country back to our country in south america.Currently we don't know where in New York he is, he was last seen walking with crutches wearing khaki pants and a hoodie. my mom dreams about him every night and wakes up crying so does i; i have odd dreams of him. What does this mean? what can i do? of course theres a whole lot to this story but i want to put him out of my head for now and focus on college or else i'll have a second meltdown and my schooling will be put back because of family issues once more. help

I'm pregnant. I'm married, and happily so, except for the morning sickness and whatnot. My husband and I did not want a child... and we were using contraceptives, but we got pregnant anyway. I am not happy about being pregnant, and I don't see it as a blessing. I feel that I'm getting more and more depressed. Is there anything, anything at all, that would help me feel better about having this child? Is there anyone else out there who HATED everything about being pregnant, especially the fact that she was pregnant, or am I just one of those heartless people out there who would have gladly terminated this pregnancy if she hadn't heard the heartbeat first?

i've been dating this guy for a year , and we both loves each other, and i know he loves me and i know i love him much more than he does me...
but...........he left me for christmas and went home to his parents (its his mothers bday too)

...I was just on this like 15 year old girl's 360 page, and there's this guy who looks like 50, commenting her, calling her sweetheart, plus he's ugly, and creepy. He has other young girls as his contacts. Don't you think that's kind of creepy and gross? Is it common to find these type of people on here?

What amendment would you make to the constitution? Is it already perfect, or can it be improved? I think it's one of the best in the world, but...
1. I'd like to have the power of initiative at the federal level.
2. I think some positions that are currently appointed should be elected, like attorney general.
3. I think the second amendment needs to be reworded, because nobody can agree on what the heck a "well regulated militia" means.
4. I think the fourth amendment should specifically say that the right to privacy includes the right to be anonynous.
Any other ideas?
