Government ideas are mooted for banning prostitution. I'd like to know people's views. I have just four comments :

1. I doubt if the trade/ activity can be banned effectively. It's not the sort of thing you can stop completely. Better to regulate what you can't prevent ?

2. Nobody would condone the sex-slavery and human trafficking that often goes along with prostitution. But prostitution doesn't necessarily mean these things.

3. My guess would be that buying sex is rubbish in comparison with having sexual relations with someone you care about and are engaged with.

4. But isn't prostitution - or can't it be - just another application of the market - a voluntary transaction on fair terms ? Or are there reasons why it is never voluntary and always & inherently exploitative of women ?

Harriet Harman, who's mainly behind the mooted legislation, is a warm heart and a champion of women. But is she right on this one ? If prostitution ended, fine : yet to illegalise ?

A week ago my dad had passed on & been muslim we did all things that were needed. I am the youngest of three sisters. My one sister has returned from Hajj today.

Thing is they been getting people to chat to & everything. I have been the one answering calls,opening & closing door & helping out in the kitchen because nobody else would do it & they did not know where things are in the kitchen. At this moment my dads brother is sitting with my older two sisters & chatting. I got told that they chatting & hinted to move away. Like I have no emotion. I may not be showing it due to been busy & doing everyones work.

THe uncle that I am closest too,I had asked him to chat & had waited for him. Just for him to tell me that he was leaving to go home & that. HE seen that I wanted to cry. Than he texted me in the car saying he will call when he gets home so told him to leave it it would not matter.

WHy is it that I am been left out to do this on my own right now? Or it seems that way

Can someone help me on how i would emigrate from BRITAIN please ?

in brief : im 30 now, have bpd.....because of my problems ive never been employed.....never gained qualifications......i live in a one bedroom apartment on benifits......my ultimate goal is to emigrate.

but i feel trapped here by my circumstances.- like there are many, many hurdles in my way.

i was born in south east france, and arrived in the uk when i was 7.....i would like to return back to somewhere in europe....but because of my predicament, i wouldnt know how to do this ?
as well as a mental health record, i have a minor criminal record to.

but i deffinatly want to emigrate from the uk, but i feel stuck and unsure of how to go about it.

p.s - i originally wanted to move outside europe, to aust, canada but because of my record- i dont think i can..

I had an ectopic pregnancy when I was 20 years old. They did not take out my fallopian tube, instead they gave me a shot of methotraxate to abort the egg growing in the tube. It has now been 5 years later and I have not been able to get pregnant ever since. Do you think my tubes are badly damaged? And if so, why wouldn't they just take the tube out. I was 6 weeks pregnant when they discoverd the ectopic pregnancy.

im so sad and disappointed in my husband. As of yesterday he still hadnt gotten me anything for xmas and he chose to sleep the day away until it was too late. i dont want to be selfish, but im upset that he didnt even try while i used christmas money sent to me as a gift to buy something he wanted but was too expensive. in otherwords it feels like i sacraficed for him but he still doesnt care enough to give me even a damn card.

there was this little black boy and his friend at a far or amusement park and he and his friend were bowling but they didn't have enough money for another game so the little boy went past the railing to get a ball to play, he went to the end and stud on a large black circle turner with a hole in the center when his foot slipped in the hole and was crushed.
