I had an ectopic pregnancy when I was 20 years old. They did not take out my fallopian tube, instead they gave me a shot of methotraxate to abort the egg growing in the tube. It has now been 5 years later and I have not been able to get pregnant ever since. Do you think my tubes are badly damaged? And if so, why wouldn't they just take the tube out. I was 6 weeks pregnant when they discoverd the ectopic pregnancy.

No one can answer that ... "We are not your doctor or Specialist".

Hope and confidence comes from "within" ... just become pregnant for "wholesome" reasons.

All the Best !

The ectopic pregnancy may not be responsible for your difficulty conceiving. There may have been a problem with your tubes in the first place which caused it, or there may be other factors. I definitely know it's possible to conceive and carry to full term after an incident like yours. Go to a doctor check it out, educate yourself first though, be an educated patient, that way you get better care and some straight answers.

My first pregnancy was ectopic and I got pregnant with twins almost 2 yrs later. (I wasn't trying to get pregnant for the first year and a half) So yes!! You can get pregnant. Even women who lose one of there fallopian tubes can still conceive because they still have one good one! Best of luck!!

You need a fertility specialist, not answers from this site.

We cannot know the condition of your body parts.

Good Luck. But adoption is great too. My son is adopted and he is the greatest. Our daughter was my first and only pregnancy (endometriosis).
