I am about to start my fishless cycle and I got some ammonium. It is clear ammonia with ammonia hydroxide and surfactant. What is surfactant? Is it okay to use this ammonia for the cycle, or will surfactant be harmful?

So I met this guy named Adam. He works at the movies and his dad and mine are friends. My mom likes him a lot and says he's a nice guy and all but my dad absolutely hates him. And he's not done anything to him...ugh. Well, he calls me everyday and I always see him at the movies. The thing is he is enlisted in the military to be a marine and he's already went to basic training and all and when he graduates this year he is going in or whatever. I really really like him but I don't know if I should get involved or not because my dad hates him and he is leaving to go to Iraq in June. I don't know what to do!? Ideas? Oh yeah, and he is about to turn 18 in February and I just turned 15 like 2 weeks ago.

With the amount of foreclosures now (and especialy in a few months) in the city of las Vegas, how long do we have before being forced to move out? January 1st will be my 3rd month skipped in payment. My husband knows a couple of people who are still in the house after 8months without paying the mortgage. Is it the norm?

I'm only 14 and my family was invited to a new years party..problem is..I'll be the only 14 yearold...and the only other kids will be 5 year olds who i dislike.
My teachers will be their and it will be really awkward...but how willl i be able to prove to my parents i can stay home on newyears and not go..becasue i REALLY dont wanna go..

Mine would be the one where the little kid goes to a shoe store to buy his dying mother shoes so she can look good when she meets Jesus that same night.

What sort of parent would let their small child run off to a mall when his wife was laying on her death bed? What sort of little kid knows his mothers shoe size, and not only that but shouldn't that kid be with family at a time like that? I mean talk about schmultzy.

What good do carbon credits do?

Isn't this another way to tax businesses with junk science?

Where does the money go?

Is there seriously anyone who can explain why a business should buy Carbon Credits for any reason other than "good Public Relations?"

Am I wrong or are Carbon Credits worthless?

Further, with India and China the biggest polluters, shouldn't they buy more credits that the U.S.?

After being together for 5 years, married for almost 4, with four kids total between us (hers, mine, ours situation), I am still totally infatuated with my wife. Honestly, I still think she is the most beautiful, sexy woman she was when we first met. I hate to say, but she has gained weight, doesn't do the same things we used to do, and we don't get near as much time to ourselves, but no matter what, I still look at her every day and stand in awe. She thinks this is completely odd, but is not complaining. Others think I am just doing this as an overcompensation.

I just thought I would put it out there and see if this was an odd thing or do others agree. Even if it is odd, I don't care, I always liked being the weird one :)

i realized that dracaena marginata, if not in a cluster clister, gets spindly looking as it matures and the lower leaves fall off. to remedy this i planted sum english ivy in the pot with it. the marginata is still full of leaves lower and upper but i figured it would be best to get an early start with the ivy. i plan to wrap the ivy around the stalk of the marginata as it gets bare. is this a good idea?
