a flying lemon hit me in the face. How do you explain things like this? Is God teasing me?

Well...I opened the door the other day and the legendary Bigfoot was standing there. He said, "You know what they say about big feet." He then proceeded to show me his dong proclaiming in a loud and defiant voice, "King Kong ain't got nothin on me!" That was pretty extraordinary and unexplainable...not to mention creepy and unsolicited.

That is only a coincidence. Maybe someone was watching or listening very closely, and when you opened the door (Which can sometimes make a lot of noise), somebody threw a lemon with perfect timing.

I have had weird and unexplainable things happen to me, though.

I dont know if this counts as extraordinary or unexplainable but I had a dog that died and I was very broken up about it and on Good Friday I found a little puppy that had wandered in front of my gate. I looked around to see if it belonged to anyone and then I claimed it for myself. The owner did show up later in the day and took the puppy back but for a few moments I was happy again.

Although that sounds remarkable, I can think of two explanations (1) a neighbor kid was hiding nearby with a lemon and waiting for you to open the door to throw it at you; or (2) it was very windy and a lemon got blown off a tree. The first one seems more likely to me.

No i dint think God would come down to earth just to hit you in the face with a lemon. Some one must not like you or you may have a stalker

That's hilarious. In reality, it was probably a neighbor or classmate. But you knew that. It is fun to imagine that (if there is a God) he or she threw a lemon at you.. maybe telling you to turn that lemon into lemonade.. are you going through a difficult time right now? Ha.

I really think a vast, cosmic, omniscient, omnipotent, eternal, super-intelligent, universe-spanning entity would be able to find SOMETHING better to do than throw lemons at you. More likely, someone decided to play a prank on you. Or maybe they only wanted to hit your door and you opened it at just the wrong time. At any rate, I can assure that it was a human being behind this incident, not a deity.

Wow, I had something similar happen to me, but it was Ed Mcmahon and publishers clearing house with a check for a million dollars, addressed to my neighbour who earlier left a burning bag of feces on my doorstep. I stayed in the house , he moved away (thank goodness) and now my new neighbours don`t clean up after their doggie and there is a terrible foul odour coming in the windows so i keep them closed. I mentioned to them about the foul smell and they said it`s great fertilizer, and that I was welcome to borrow some any time. I now have the second greenest lawn on the block! So you see, something good can come out of these situations, but next time I suggest you return fire with eggs.

No someone knocked on your door and waited for you to open it then let fly with the lemon.

i was once hunting in the woods on a hill, looking down into a clear valley with one bush in the center.. over on the other hill i heard a noise.. i clearly seen a wolf appear.. it walked down, slowly.. it went behind the bush i had been able to see for over a half an hour.. in one motion, as it passed the bush, it became a deer and walked on.. i could see this as it was clear.. i walked down anyway, not believing my eyes and walked all around this bush and scanning everywhere else.. there was nothing else to be seen.. i know there was nothing behind the bush while i sat there and if a deer had been laying there or something, where did the wolf go..
