YES!!!!!! It's soo annoying. So I usually just don't really do anything.... i'll just play solitaire or something until they go away. And I'm saving for a laptop now too, so it's even harder for them.

well i am 42, never had a computer until i graduated from high school and discovered the Internet when i was in the navy. my two kids when they were in high school had to use the computer down stairs in the living room, or community room, so we could monitor what they were looking at. if they were researching something for class, or just messing around, no big deal. but there was an occasional sicko who tried to contact them and talk about sex. your parents are just being good parents, my kids hated it also, but now they see where i was coming from because they are out in the world and are seeing things that make them sick.

You hit the point!!! I hate it so much,(there should be a word better than "hate" that would explain how much I hate it. More than parents is older brother of sister(they think all bad for being older): like whats so wrong with having facebook and multiply whats so bad about that???

Your parents need to monitor what you are doing on the internet there are a lot of pedophiles out there don't think of them as checking up on you but being a good parent!

My parents are more worried about their own business, not mine. They dont have time to sit and look over my shoulder. I'm so glad my parents arent nosey like so many others are
