After being together for 5 years, married for almost 4, with four kids total between us (hers, mine, ours situation), I am still totally infatuated with my wife. Honestly, I still think she is the most beautiful, sexy woman she was when we first met. I hate to say, but she has gained weight, doesn't do the same things we used to do, and we don't get near as much time to ourselves, but no matter what, I still look at her every day and stand in awe. She thinks this is completely odd, but is not complaining. Others think I am just doing this as an overcompensation.

I just thought I would put it out there and see if this was an odd thing or do others agree. Even if it is odd, I don't care, I always liked being the weird one :)

That's great for you and for her. It's a great thing to be totally in love with her and think she's beautiful. Don't worry what anyone else says. Enjoy your life with her.

Sounds like true love to me. I think it's great that you still are in awe of your wife. My husband is the exact same way. He still compliments me, even if my make-up is smeared on my face and I have morning breath. lol. Great men are hard to find and your wife is very lucky to have you!!! Congratulations for being a really great husband! Merry Christmas

This is completely normal because you truly love your wife and obviously know what true love is. This is the way all couples should feel throughout their entire marriage. Your wife is a lucky woman to have a man who knows the meaning of love and you are a lucky man for knowing that and feeling that about your wife. Congratulations.

I think it's a wonderful thing and not odd at all. =) It's nice to know that some men still look at their wives that way. Very refreshing indeed.

That's really nice ...what you said about your wife. I was just wondering have you gained any weight...perhaps around the mid-section? Why do feel the need to mention her weight?

I think you are in with your soul mate. Do not think you are odd, just think of how lucky you and your wife is to have each other. Allot of men could learn allot from you.

I don't think so but my wife lists this as one of her reasons for wanting a divorce! Go figure! They are some strange creators sometimes!

I felt that way about my wife too. Even the day we got the divorce. I must be a sick puppy.
