My hubby and the sons-in-law usually do it even though I have a dishwasher but we're going to our daughter's this year and low and behold her husband bought her a new one last month,he said they don't want to be tied to the sink when they have company but we think he's just being clever!

I will be as no one else does them properly. I think they do them poorly just to get out of it.
