To say "I believe there is no God" is a conscious choice.

Then, on what do you base your choice: evidence, logic, faith, or a combination of the three?

If evidence, then what positive evidence is there that disproves God's existence?

If logic then what logical proof do you have that negates God's existence?

If faith (you just believe there is no God) alone, then the position is not held by logic or evidence and is an arbitrary position.

Or a combination of those three?

How often do you hear christians bash Atheists for not having a moral guide like they have? Now interstingly enough, christians swim around the laws in the bible like slippery eels everytime they're mentioned. They say, "Jesus already fulfilled all the laws and we now live by his grace". So by this, christians basically don't have to follow anything told in the bible because jesus already fulfilled them.

So what is there left in the bible to guide you, when you're not obliged to follow any of it?

As for the 10 commandments, most of them are basic moral rules existent in most cultures around the world anyway. But I seriously doubt that there's any christian who has never lied. If you say you have'nt, then you're lying once again and thus breaking your law.......but then again jesus already died for you...so....

I love video games and anything related to it. When I get a new game I play it till I beaten it and I don't care how it takes. I love playing online in a certain game. I love the adrenaline rush I get from playing... It's so much fun but yet everything else is suffering, such as my relationship with my Girlfriend, my school work and even my career, which I don't have one! So... advice?

He grabbed around my waist he would make kissy faces and all that he would always make me blush he would tickle me jump out at me on my midnight walks and one night I was hanging out with my horse sitting on the fence petting him and he came up behind me picked me up and brought me in the house he sat me on the couch and watched king kong he whispered to me cause another one of our frineds was at the comp and is a blabber mouth he asked if I wanted to holdhis hands we held hands then he layed down still holding my hand on his chest and he kissed my hand

I have an e-machine model T3112, it came with a 80GB ATA hard drive, I'm trying to install a sata 300 on my computer cause I wanna update my hard drive but still have the ATA drive. I have everything hook up right and my sata drive is not been detected. I try using disk management and the sata drive still not there. My computer spec. are 1.80GHz with 1.25GB ram. Me, being one of those guy's that become the fence for the Atheist and Theist to argue over, is like being-known for some terminal-illness we possess.

I remember an 'Advil' commercial, where the lady at the end states, "I have arthritis, but it doesn't have me!!"...

Shouldn't our beliefs be treated the same way, at least in the relationship of our idenities.

This is a curious question which belongs really nowhere, so I ask it here where many of you are known tome.

When someone says "I feel" and then goes on to explain what they feel..

do you respect it in the same way you might if they said

"I think" and then went on to explain?

However bright we are, whatever frameworks of understanding we build with our intelligence, do we respect feelings enough?

Feeling make choices. We often put our intellect at the service of our feelings. To me that is called politics.

It doesn't matter how clever you are, or whether you can convince others to be part of the plan. When someone says "I feel" it is a demand to be treated as an equal because the same capacity to feel and experience exists. Even if I may not agree.

Do you respect Emotional Integrity to the same Degree you Respect the Right to Differing Views?
