Just to represent things fairly..........

If you as a Pagan absolutely positively HAD to convert to Christianity, would you be able to find a way in your heart to sincerely practice this faith?

I'm not sure. You see, it's not easy to convert away from a religion that truly suits you. I could certainly try to change my beliefs, but I would probably end up a confused mess because Christianity isn't the right religion for me.

There would be no way under any amount of threats that i could sincerely practice the christian faith.

Reason why is because of what is taught ( from my prospective) to women and men as far as procreation goes.

You are told that you must go forth and spread thy seed and be fruitful.

Well infertility sucks and not everyone can do that, nor does everyone want to go out and adopt children. I have always felt looked down apon by the christians in church because i dont have children that i've produced with my husband, nor do i have the want to do that anymore.

so no i couldn't even begin to consider to do it.

No, I don't think I could. I mean I could fake it. I did for a long time. But I just don't believe. I tried. Really, really, really, really hard. I handed my life over to Christ, I prayed for hours. I think I gave it more of a shot then anyone I know. I still ended up bleeding and dying in an ER trying to understand why I felt so empty and lost. It just didn't do anything for me. I felt NOTHING. It literally, just about killed me. When I walked away, I felt as if a HUGE burden had been lifted from me. I won't go back. No matter what shiney gift I am promised. It's just not for me.

Actually, I did try this. I could not practice it from the heart. I am a firm believer in being where you fit in. I now know where I fit in, my life is much more enjoyable and I do not have those feelings of guilt that accompany all the Abrahamic belief structures like christianity and islam.

What would you do put me on a cross like happened to Jesus or burn me at the stake? Or put me in the Mental Hospital if I don't accept Christianity? I think I'd rather die than change!
It's Not like I was never Christian! I grew up as a Christian but it wasn't for me! I found my way in a Unitarian Fellowship in TBP Ont.

Just as a mental excercise: no, i don't think so.
I was raised in a very catholic environment, but I was sickened by it ever since I was a child. It just never worked for me. I guess, if i really really had to, I could do the rituals and say the words and all that.. but I would never believe.

Many Christians already say that Catholicism is a Pagan Religion. I am a Catholic practising my faith, therefore, am i still Pagan or Christian ?

Why would I have to? Are you going to try to burn me at the stake? How about the other way around, could they do the same? If one truely believes in their faith, they'd rather die than change.

I have tried that path and it wasn't for me. My heart, soul and mind was not in it then I don't see how it could be in the future.

You can't force someone to feel something in your heart thats not there.

Not likely. I just can't bend over like the religion seems to need.

The closest would be the Quakers - they leave it to you to define God and how he manifests in your life.
