What does it take to get a therapist these days, I am so depressed close to rock bottom, I have called many places, a lot dont have any openings, or wont return my call, do you actually have to inflict harm on your self or kill yourself for soemone to finally care or realize? Is it me, or does there seem to be a gremlin running around giving thumbs down to a lot of answers? I can see TDing the anti's answers, blatently wrong answers, spam, dumb answers (ie. Desert Eagle for CCW), and the like.

But it seems pretty normal to click a question and find every answer with at least a thumbs-down - and I mean good, accurate answers too. Is it out of spite, or what?

I'm all for making thumbs-down raters public. If you "star" a question, your name appears, I think the same should be done for TD's, if even for only the answerer to view. If you have the guts to rate it, you should have the guts to put your name to it.

I know I've never been messaged with the disagreement over an answer that got a TD. This IS supposed to be answers, so if I'm wrong I want to learn something new.

It doesn't bother me personally, but the blatent abuse is annoying. There's no reason to TD everyone's answer in a question.

Wondering if anyone else agrees?

I have major depression and I had it before I even knew what the words depression and suicide meant. It feels like **** to have it ever since you can remember with your parents refusing to take you to the doctors to get you checked out.

Anyways, is it wrong for me to get frustrated when people say they are "depressed' because their parents wouldn't let them go to a mall or something?

I just find it stupid how people use it everyday as if depression was not but feeling sad for 3 hours.

I am an atheist. All of the evidence around me seems to implicate a godless universe.

However, I have the desire to be a Christian. I have no idea why. I wish every day that desire would go away. I don't want to end up converting and being a mockery of myself.

I have a problem. I finished my second term of school last thursday, and am now off for three weeks. I'm almost 15 (my birthday is in three months) but my dad still insists on giving me a bedtime. Does anyone have any valid points i can argue to my dad about letting me stay up later? I don't want to come across as the clichéd "snotty teenager" here, and I don't think the "I'm almost 15" arguement would go over very well. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

Been notic'g my wife carry on cell phone conversation in odd time and places to the same person. They do have business dealings together and he is a flirt. Our marriage is having problem and I confronted earlier on another discoveries of a potential dream affair. She said I love you but not in-love w/ you. Seem like she willing to try to work on our marriage one more time but something still don't feel right. Her calling to this guy is alway at a wrong time frame. Like in the middle of my family's xmas dinner. In a dressing room in a dept store, etc.. This guy wanted her and flirt w/ her quite often. And within this weak period of time, he could create problems. Should I confront her why she is calling this guy so often and address my concerns? Just keep my mouth shut and trust her she will do the right thing? She told me to give her space and time. Am I foolish to believe it? I am so confuse!!! Should I just move on? We have 2 kids and seem like that's the bond.

I don't know how to just say it so...well I'm barely 20 and my husband is 24. we have now been married for 2 yrs and I feel as if I missed out on a lot. Don't get me wrong I love him dearly but I just wish things were a little different. He spends all his time working and right now I am unemployed so I am alone all day cuz he goes to work at 7am and gets out till 10-1030pm. There hasn't been any attraction in the bedroom in a while no matter what I do! No matter the sexyclothes or anything! He is really attached to his mom so on his days off his mom tags along everywhere we go. When he works she knows his break hours and the time he gets out and is either at the door of our house or on the phone calling him as he is walking in! Sometimes I feel *** if I just need to get away but I can't. I feel as if I took on 2 much reponsibility at such a young age and I need to break loose! I see my friends having fun and I feel as if I sould be there! What do I do! I love my husband but I'm confuse

I have been running on the high school xc team for 3 years and love it!
