just curious if God can be found to be a lier. He said man would only live to 120... I asume that is the max a person has live...cuss no one lives that long. Not that I am trying to make him into a lier, but to increase my faith.

The context of the passage at first glance will appear that God is saying man will not live past 120 years. But, upon closer inspection and study, you will find that what God is conveying is that man, at this time, has only 120 years left on this earth.
"Then the Lord said, 'My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years.'" (Genesis 6:3)
When God spoke to Noah, commanding Noah to build the ark, it took roughly 120 years until completion of the ark and the flood.
"After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japtheth." (Genesis 5:32)
"But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord" (Genesis 6:8)
"Noah was six hundred years old when the flood waters came on the earth." (Genesis 7:6)

The context of 120 years therefore, is the time of the destruction of man from the flood. Historical evidence has suggested that there have been many people that have lived past 120 years of age, not many, but a minuscule few have.

Not in a very long time. There are many instances in the Bible of people living hundreds of years, but in modern times, I don't recall seeing any stories of people living past 120-125.

Print story Email to a friend Font size:KIEV, Ukraine, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- A Ukraine farmer awaiting confirmation as the world's oldest man died at the age of 116 at his farm home in western Ukraine, Kiev media reported.

Kiev's Segodnya newspaper said Hryhoriy Nestor, died in his sleep Friday and friends and relatives held a small and simple ceremony Saturday.

He lived in a farmhouse with relatives, who said the former laborer had complained of a headache Friday and splashed his head with ice water, the BBC reported.

Family documents indicate he was born on March 15, 1891, although copies hadn't been submitted for verification to the Guinness Book of World Records, reports said.

The lifelong bachelor had requested no crying at his funeral but rather a meal of his favorite foods -- homemade sausages, warm potatoes with herring and cabbage, one of his relatives identified only as Oksana said.

"He didn't find himself a mate because he was a short man and never had money," Oksana said.

The world's recognized oldest living person is Edna Parker of the United States, who turned 114 in April.

Posted on 12/16/2007 8:37:35: The planet's oldest living person, Grigoriy Nestor, died at the age of 116 in the Lvov Region in western Ukraine on Sunday.

According to church documents and his passport, Nestor was born on March 15, 1891.

Nestor, who worked as a shepherd in the village, used to say that he had lived to an old age because he had never been married and had not had his nervous system "undermined on the marital front."

Nestor, who loved Ukrainian, Russian, German and Polish songs as he learnt them after living through the first and second world wars in his west Ukrainian village, actually never fell ill, never took any medicines and never used alcohol in large amounts.

According to Guinness World Records, today the world's oldest living person is 115-year-old Emiliano Mercado del Toro of Puerto Rico who assumed this title after Elizabeth Bolden, an African American woman, died at the age of 116 years and 118 days in 2006.

Yes, I believe one chick did...she was something like...122 or something...I guess I could be remembering wrong, but I thought she was over 120. You could look it up in the Guiness book of world records and find out; I'm too lazy to do it for you.

Your previous questions belie your claim that you're asking this to edify yourself. Believe me when I say that people far more intelligent than you have tried things like this. Sadly, intelligence does not beget wisdom. Psalm 111:10 says: "The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom." You clearly do not fear God.
