will HEFTY TRASH BAGS IN ITALY WORK WITH THE CURRENT TRASH DISPOSAL SYSTEM?

why do you ask? I'm stationed in Sicily and there really isn't any problem using any trash bags,as long as you separate like the other guy said. if you are going to move here and you have any ?'s feel free to ask me!

Just curious,,,do you currently live in Italy? OR intend to at some point? Do you know how they currently deal with trash/solid waste?
Certainly as one answer says it might be regionally different. Venice would be a great example of efficient OR NOT, waste disposal.

Depend on the town you live in... In some you have to recycle and you need 4 different bags.
