a few days ago me and my dad had a debate though his pionts are better than mine i still believe that kids should be able to dress freely but they should really enforce the dress code. my dad sais that kids should wear button down shirts and slacks or a skirt. so they can tell if a drug dealer or someone who doesnt belong to the school is in it. and if a teacher tells them their clothes is in apropiate then the parent turns around and sais"why are you looking at my child like that? " and then the teachers is fired.

y = (1 - 2^x) / (1 + 2^x)

i only found one at y = -1 but there's suppose to be one at y = 1 as well according to the answer. however if i simply divide top and bottom by 2^x as usually, i can only get the -1 part. can someone show me

George is 7-8 months old and much heavier and more solid than our 5yo cat. He weighs 11 lbs. He eats at least twice what she does (he eats a at least a cup a day & 1/2 a can of tuna cat food :) That's the highlight of his day). We just went through a bag of cat food in a week that pre-George would have lasted six weeks!

I bought the adult weight maintenance formula cat food so he gets the nutrients without too much fat...

Is that unusual for a fairly active cat to be eating that much?

P.S. This cat was a stray--we don't know for how long. We're told that might affect his eating habits. Maybe he's eating so much because for so long he had to eat whatever food he found whenever he found it...

Ok, I admit, I am not a hard liquor type. I have this curiosity about the Martinis, it's mostly the olives that attract me. So I was wondering, any advice, what to do on the first try, and is there a less strong version that I can maybe try? I never got drunk, and I don't intend to. I think I was watching too many Bond movies, and that catchy phrase he gives when asked for a drink, "Martini, shaken, not stirred" - it's just perplexing! What do you think? Also I don't want to try it at some party, and totally make a fool out of myself. So give some neat ideas, please. Best advice, gets 10 pts. After I try it! ha-ha!

I'm feeling increasingly claustrophobic in the UK nowadays, considering we've got more CCTV in this country than anywhere else in the world. The government has openly admitted recording EVERY conversation we have, in order to pinpoint where we are 24/7.
I can't smoke, drink, do this, say that.
