If the crayons are non-toxic then it shouldn't really hurt your dog.
Depending on how big the pieces the dog swallowed are if it was chewed up pretty well into small pieces then the dog should just pass it through the digestive system.
If it was big pieces then the dog might have some stomach blockages and could have serious problems...If the dog swallowed it and is throwing up or having diarrhea contact the vet.

Keep the crayons cleaned up and out of reach of the dog.

You mean what's gonna happen inside the dog, toxic wise? Probably nothing but some funny colored bits in the poop tomorrow. Still, put the rest of the crayons up higher now.

His poop is going to be a funny color, whatever color the crayon was. Most crayons are non-toxic, at least any I have ever bought for my kids was. So no worries, just check the box to make sure it says non-toxic! My dogs have ate a few crayons.

If he ate it, his poo will have color ( no lie). My Beagle has eaten a few crayons in his puppy days. They're non-toxic, so it should be fine.

Children chew on them too, so if they're regular old Crayola®, you can expect some colorful poop.

The pooch might puke a little or have some diarrhea; but nothing serious will happen to him/her.
