Everytime something loud goes off,I jump really bad. It just surprises me. It isn't fear though. How do I get rid of this? Sometimes I am afraid that people think I do it for attention, but I don't!

Yes, the Pats had 1 loss because half of their starters did not play against a powerful 15-1 Steelers. But they as good as nowadays, they were better on defense and had a balanced offense with a primed Corey Dillon.

That Fins-Pats was one of the most dramatic regular season games I've ever seen.

Do you see a similar upset happening this time?

My parents say I'm allowed to date, but only a Christian. All the guys at my school are non Christians. I keep getting asked out by these cute guys who I have a crush on, but I have to turn them down because of my parents rules. I don't think I have hope now to find a boyfriend because he needs to be a Christian. If you are a Christian, what advice do you have for me?

I'm tired of political conspiracy arguments - explain these scientific facts if AGW is wrong.

I went to a chili Cook Off. To my shock, any of the entries for the "Best Chili" entry had to be without beans! Beans are the only thing actually GOOD for you in chili! Why would I want chili without beans?

And I noticed most of the people there did a pretty fair imitation of the Goodyear Blimp. Gee, go figure, lousy eating habits = morbid obesity.

I've been running from sleep.
It keeps in pace, steadily at my back.
I'm hunting for restlessness.
Sleep must soon attack.
I keep running, thinking I can't turn back!

zzzz zzz zzz

...No! Wait! I'm back! I'm back!
As I lay in bed, between a leaning room's cracks...
I think to myself...will my room detatch itself in my sleep?
Not really caring, soon to be counting sheep.
Sleep is a game, and I might finally win!
Yet, still I fight it; not wishing my battle done.
I've fought with sleep so much...I think I may be done.
After all, sleep makes "tomorrow" sound fun.
I unlace my running shoes, and 3, 2 ,1..............................

I dont know a whole lot about atheism, so I am wandering. Even though you dont have a religion, do you have a spiritual life? Are you spiritual? Do you believe in any form of life after death, or reincarnation, or are those thoughts just linked to religions? Is there such thing as a soul, in your opinion?

I ask with an open mind, not a judgmental one. I really want to know atheists views, I know religious views, so no need to tell me what you believe if you are in a religion.

*** I am posting this again, this time with new details, in the hopes that I may spread the faith to even more blasphemers!***

Everyone has their own religions. All of them are substantiated by SOME form of proof. Christians have the Bible, Jews have the Tanakh, Muslims have the Quaran, etc. Each of those books were written by prophets and average people that spoke to their supposed Gods. Well, the IPU (PBUHH)does something better for me. She is kind, she spoke to ME personally in a dream and converted me, and there are numerous texts confirming her existence. She also has a strong affinity her stealing/hiding socks -- a playful way for her to show her affection for us. Has a sock of yours ever gone missing? That right there is proof that she loves you.

The religion is founded on both LOGIC and FAITH. We IPU believers LOGICALLY know that she must be invisible, as no one has seen her, yet we have FAITH that she is pink.

So.... Why am I criticized?

Hey,

I've been looking into high definition monitors with a resolution of 1080p and an HDMI input to play my Playstation 3 on, and I stumbled across this relatively cheap, well-reviewed, Hanns·G HG-216DPO monitor:

What do you think of it? It's 21.6", only $210, well reviewed, and has an HDMI input. Do you have any other suggestion for a monitor of this size and price range instead of this?
