My friend has gotten pulled over 50 times roughly. And has received about 10-15 tickets. I don't think he has a shot with the background check being such a crucial part of the process of application.

Since I was about three or four, I constantly have had Deja Vu's / Precognitive dreams. It grew from one or two a year, to more recently two or three a week. The dreams fluctuate in vividness and importance greatly, it seems to be very random. One night, I could dream about taking a car ride the next day, and then be able to know what type of car is coming up behind me and even be able to recite the licence plate. Other times, I can just remember a few words to a conversation I had with someone. As I said before, my dreams are becoming increasingly vivid and are coming more often. I'm not sure what to do / belive anymore

I went to the meeting and the manager made me submit my refference letter,+ job application by fax.. she even told me that the supervisor will start training me on january 17th , but she also told me that will submit my information.. should I wait or call her in 3 days??? to make sure that i am still getting hired? wat is up with that??

and how come im learning so much in school about white people and chinese people and maybe even native people but you never hear anything about kingdoms in africa outside of egypt and kush? did black people not have kingdoms? it seems like evry other group or race has a kingdom or a legacy to live up to but i never hear nothing about black african kingdoms. i asked my teacher about it and he just said their was nothing in africa at the time. like it was just a bunch of people chasing eachother around with sticks and not contributing to history in any way. how come i gotta take a special class just to find out about what happened south of the sahara but any regular class will tell me all about ancient china and mid-evil times? i know slavery erased most of our history but can i at least have a clue??? some of us still care you know!!!

so i just came out to two of the most important people in my life. It wasnt easy , and i knew it wouldnt be but i was so happy thinking about how a big weight will be lifted from my chest because for the longest time it was like am i gay or bi , but i went on a trip recently and i had a lot of time to think , and the more time i had to think the more i knew i was gay.and i was so happy because it was like now i know im not confused ,and it was so hard to get out , and they were happy and excited for me , and i was happy to get it out but about an hour after i told them , i was at my apartment and i felt bad and upset , even though i was so happy to get this out . I mean now that im out i dont know what to do.what next , im not ready to tell my family , as fine as they will be with it , i just dont have it in me to do it.Anything thing else ,i would not have such a hard time say it to them , so why this?Why such a great thing bring me so down.i mean im not confused, does it get easier?

Today somebody joined our section
He asked 4 question
The first question asked if he should play Junior

The second asked if he should play junior because he had been playing since he was 6

The thirdquestion dealt with making it to the NHL from the ECHL
- he had a tryout, but hadn't heard back
- I answered this question politely by informing him that no player who has made the ECHL as a walk-on has ever made the NHL (and they haven't)

The fourth question asked how much do ECHLers get paid
- I answered this question by telling he's full of %$@% (and explainig why I thought so)

If you've never played Junior or College, you'll probably not make the ECHL as a walk-on.

However, after calling Derek Wilkinson (Charlotte Checkers GM and Coach) he claimed no knowledge of giving any walk-ons a tryout.


Suddenly, all his questions are gone.......

Was I wrong to be so blunt?

Christians - Do you hate your family and your life?

Let me quote Luke 14: 26-[If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.]

Let’s state a ground rule here that “hate” does not mean “less love”.

So, do you Christians hate your life and your families? It seems that if you want to follow Christ you have to hate your families and your life. It says it plain as day!

I know that these problems were not discussed in Sunday school.

So, I know it will take awhile to come-up with the “answers”. Consult your clergy if you like. I await your answers.
