SOMA is the brand name of durg called carisoprodol. Carisoprodol is a muscle relaxant. It works by blocking nerve impulses (or pain sensations) that are sent to your brain.

Carisoprodol is used, along with rest and physical therapy, to treat injuries and other painful muscular conditions.

Carisoprodol is available with a prescription under the brand name Soma. Other brand or generic formulations may also be available. Ask your pharmacist or physician any questions you have about this medication, especially if it is new to you.

there is a muscle relaxer called Soma. It is very potent. I'm not sure how old your daughter is but, this is a prescription medication and she shouldn't have it if a MD hasn't prescribed it to her

Soma (carisoprodol) is a skeletal muscle relaxant. Overdosing can result in DEATH talk to her about it. Good luck!
