...or would I be forced to wait until I used up the first amount of money I put on it? Also, is there a monthly fee for having such a card? How serious do you think the credit problem is when a bill for a bailout passed the Senate on a 93 to 1 vote and the president is asking the House to have the bill on his desk before year end for his signature?

I have given a lady a price to build an addition and it's been three months since we gave it to her. She is still saying she will do the project and will probably hire us, but will not make a commitment. If she does finally want us to do it, I am thinking of telling her we need to review our price since it's been so long. Since that time, we've started writing 30-day time limits on our offers, but we were new then, so we didn't do it then. How long would you think would be acceptable to no longer honor a price.

Please answer from experience only. The reason I ask is because I recently purchased a stainless encore since it would be so resistant. After allowing it to sit in the closet for a few months, it rusted and pitted on the barrel and frame. I thought stainless could not rust originally; however after researching it, the low grade stainless steels can (as used in guns). Is low grade stainless or blued finish more resistant to rust? Please Encore users only.

My husband passed unexpectedly from a heart attack not long ago and a neighbor of ours who does electrical and A/C work and enjoys doing handyman type things also, for friends, etc., asked me to let him know anytime there's anything like that he can help me with, which I very much appreciate. As it turns out, I do have a couple things - 1) installing a motion detector light in both my front and back yards and 2) installing some new mini-blinds on my back door - that I would love to accept his help with, but have no idea how much to offer him when he's done. I also wonder if that is appropriate to do without hurting his feelings as I am almost sure his offer was meant to be at no charge (except supplies, of course) but I also don't want to assume that it was. Help! Can anyone tell me what is fair to pay for those jobs so I can at least offer him the cash for them??
P.S. No hidden agenda, he's just a good neighbor with a cute gf and absolutely no need for little old lady, me! ; )

The UK govt seems to spend more time apeasing non brits and natives....WHY?
this might sound like a rant but bare with: we can't call christmas, christmas anymore. Instead it is called Winter Festival.
Pigs can no longer be shown in advertisements (for fear of upsetting muslims or jews...who i think couldn't really care less about it).
And giving benifits to immigrants from romania or ghana or wherever who can barely speak english ( and spending £38,000,00 in translators fees each year) and denying some natives the same benifits..
