Politicians met at the constitutional convention in 1787 in Philadelphia to create the constitution, right? Was there a name for this group of politicians? Was it the second continental congress? When did the constitution actually go into effect? I'm reading it was ratified in 1789, but Delaware ratified it in 1787?

I got these boots (in black) for way less than they are selling for online.

I think they are super cute but I'm afraid I'll be too lazy to put on tall winter boots every day and then change out of them when I get to the office. But my other boots (fake Uggs) don't give me any added height, and I am a petite girl.

What do you think??

My dog has had a couple of urinary tract infections this past year, and she is only 10 months old. She's been on clavamox, she takes cranberry relief in her food, and she use to take a medicine that made her urine more acidic.
Our veternarian said she will most likely go on a prescription diet. I have looked online and found Hill's Science Diet for urinary tract.
My question is do I have to go through the vet to get it, or can I buy it at Petco or Petsmart?

OK my guppy just died.. she was heavily pregnant. I tried to save her babies but they were to young. I think she had worms because she had like 5 red threads coming out of her well down there. (Its definately not poo, there 5 hanging out of her at once an they go back in and never go away, NOTPOO) well as has these han Now my other guppy has those threads too, she also looks like shes moulting her scales. These two females were in with two other males and 30 fry. The females are gone but the males airnt. One doesnt look to good i think hes just too old. the thing im worried about is how do i cure the worms and will my cichlid tank 180L be infected as i had the females in there earlier today and decided to put them in my smaller tank with the fry. And my major problem is i have catfish loaches and fry whitch are all hard to treat (lower doses). See my problem?

HELP how do i cure the worms? i live in Australia QLD and will my beloved cichlid tank fishes be ok?? Im scared any help!

I just replaced my battery 2 weeks ago. Today the car began to stutter and lights dimming. It would not restart, dead battery.
I replaced the alternator, jumped it and it ran for about 3 minutes at a 3000 rmp before the ABS and Trac Cont lights came on, lights began to flicker, 1 minute later the battery light came on and it started to stutter again. I shut it off and now the battery is dead again.....?????? what now?

i had 13 to 14 people living at my house at one time ,it was my aunt and uncle and most of my cousins, and me and my mom, we 13 to 14 people livin in a 3 bedroom house with one bathroom, and 3 of them were babies, they were some crazy times!!!!! good times tho

Ive been with this guy for 7 months and i love him to death. The problem is he has a 2 year old son and no place to live. He is looking to buy a house and trying to have his son legally on a full time basis. Im a mom with a 7 year old and i know how important our children are to us. I miss him terribly and want to see him but there is no time. He takes his son every weekend and works alot during the week, im willing and trying to be patient but i cant help but to feel so lonely some nights. I want to be there for him and wait this whole thing out because i feel he is worth it, but how do i handle feeling so lonely sometimes. We are in our late 30's and i dont want anyone else.

George Bush should send nice Christmas cards to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. The pair have done more for Bush's reputation that the three Republican-controlled Congresses that preceded the 110th.

Who'd have thought it, Pelosi and Reid have transformed Bush into a spending hawk. In the first five years of his presidency, Bush could barely find his veto pen. Now, however, freed of the burden of defending a free-spending Republican Congress, Bush has discovered his inner Reagan and decided to fight for budgetary discipline -- and the Democrats realize that they can't beat him.

Perhaps Bush should send them some holiday fruitcake as well.

I grew up with parents that did not spoil anyone. I have only been a Christian for a solid 2 ½ years. I am only this far in my walk with Christ because my parents were never church going people. Never did they outwardly show devotion to the one true God. Thus my life was following their footsteps. Working only to get by. Striving for success by how much money I would get paid. My grandmother invited me to a youth Christmas party one year. After that a girl by the name of Mary Melissa Yohn was my motivation to keep going. She kept talking about her relationship with God. I didn’t understand. I didn’t have this relationship. This girl that I like so much motivated me to learn more about what she had. I continued to go to church. My parents thought it was a good idea for me to keep going, for reasons unknown to me. Eventually I went on a mission trip to Mexico where we built houses for the needy. In that environment I for the first time witnessed God’s true love. The next week, on my birthday, I got baptized and accepted Christ into my heart. About a year ago God broke down everything in my life. He did this so that he could reveal his true vision for my life. I was to become a youth minister. To help those who were like me. After 6 months of my parents mocking me and telling me they wouldn’t pay for me to go to college, I finally ended up at southern union. They agreed to pay for that under the pretence that I was going to get a degree in another field. My intention was to get a degree and then become a youth minister during my post grad work. I have battled with my family over this issue for too long. I truly have no fight left in me. I work all the time, I spend little time at church, and in my heart I don’t feel like I am making a difference.

In my life I see no fruit from my labor. I feel like all that is happening is, day after day, I lead a life that is not holy. My parents still don’t trust me or even aknowledge what I want, I have very little free time, and most of all I feel like I am dying. I feel as if my dreams and God’s vision for my life are too far away. That the obstacle is too great to overcome. I feel dead in my heart. That I am wasting breath.
