EASY STUFFED PEPPERS
4 bell peppers (any color)
1 box Rice-a-Roni, garden vegetable flavor
1 lb. hamburger
1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes
1. Prepare the Rice-a-Roni according to box directions.
2. Cook hamburger
3. Mix cooked hamburger with can of diced tomatoes and the cooked Rice-a-Roni.
4. Cut the tops off the bell peppers, and clean seeds and ribs from the insides.
5. Spoon the rice mixture into the bell peppers
6. Put aluminium foil on a cookie sheet (for easy clean up) and place the stuffed peppers on the tray.
7. Bake at 370F for 20 min.

It's relatively simple: you can use any sort of ground meat...and with that meat you can mince celery, onion, pepper, spinach, and some tomato sauce: mix them all together, and stuff the hollowed out bell pepper: then you bake it in the oven @ 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes, depending on how cooked you like you food...

stuffed peppers made easy
recipe for two
use one red and one green pepper
cut the pepper in half side ways so that the pepper will lay flat in a oven baking pan
Clean out the inside of the pepper remove all the white ribs inside. They are bitter.
In a bowl put in 1 lb of lean ground beef ( you can also use half pork and beef if you wish)
Add one egg, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 2 pinch salt, 1 pinch pepper, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1 onion diced fine, pinch oregano and basil, 4 tbsp ketchup. 1 cup of cooked white rice. ( cook 1/2 cup raw rice before cooking)Mix well.
Place equal parts of the meat in each half of the pepper.
In another bowl pour in 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 pinch pepper, 1 tbsp of white vinegar, 1 tsp basil.
Mix well and pour over peppers.
Cover baking dish with plastic wrap and then tin foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
remove foil and plastic wrap and bake uncovered for 15 minutes.
remove and serve.
serve one red and one green pepper half
pour sauce over over peppers and garnish with fresh parsley or fresh basil.

I use rice, seasoned ground beef or turkey, and cheese.
Wash and carefully clean out the insides of the peppers.
Wing it, if you can cook, you'll do just fine.
Pasta sauce is optional, I don't use it.
