is it ok to renew my NBI clearance with a purpose for seamans visa to local employment?

i lost my personal copy of my NBI clearance with a purpose for local employment so i want to use the other clearance w/c also has a different purpose. thanks

NBI clearance can be used for other purposes because the record shows the same except the purpose.
