What are some internal causes that brought about the Six-Day War? I am not as much concerned about external factors than I am internal ones.

Your internal and external references cause some confusion here as the two factors need to be taken into consideration together, as they are both part of what happened:

Point 1. Israel was attacked by her neighbours (external factors)

Point 2. Israeli government responded by putting her military on a war footing (internal factors).

Point 3. For every action follows a reaction

For: B بغداد's : yours is a typical statement for one who is an obvious anti-Semitic and oblivious to the real history of the Middle East.

Nasser needed street cred. Syria was a rouge nation (still is) that thought Jordan and Egypt were too easy on Israel. The three Arab nations were suppose have an alliance but they didn't trust one another. Nasser's army while bogged down in Yeman tired and extended didn't have the nerve to tell Nasser how over taxed they were. Nasser rushed troops into the Sinai, where disorganized, unfed, unequipped, moving from place to place they finally collapsed on the eve of war. Syria punked out saying they were busy with "exercises". Read Michael Oren's book "The Six day war" It's a comprehensive history and has exactly what you're looking for.
